6days of adventure in Åre
So a few weeks ago I went on a 6 day trip to Åre and if we count away the long road trip I was in åre for 4 whole days. So this will be the big BTS post on how I did what I did.

We arrived in Åre around 12 a clock. We didn't do much that day we just explored the village and beach.
Day 2: Hiking down a mountain
At 10:30 we took the cabin lift to the “base camp” that is around 900 meters over the sea ( the top is on 1420 meters ) and we planned to go to the top and then hike a long trail down. I did just bring a thin summer jacket and a T-shirt under which was a BIG mistake. Down in the village it was 20c but on the Base camp it was winter and it was 6c. We had to change our plans by two reasons I would freeze to death if we hiked the long trail and it was super foggy so we could barely see 10-15 meters a head. We decided to hike down the mountain from the base camp which would take 4 hours. I had no extra clothes or something like that to put on but I had two plastic bags that I bought for my camera if it would start to rain to much. I took those two plastic bags under my T-shirt just so I wouldn't freeze to death on our way down. We hiked for around 1 and a half hours before we were under the clouds and the sun started to shine so I could take off my two plastic bags. We continued our hike until we were at around 500 meters over the sea and took a quick break to eat and give Scooby some water. From there the nature was almost the same the only difference was that it just got warmer and warmer. At around 400 meters we came to the forest which was beautiful but at 350 meters I came a small mountain river and the nature there was amazing!

Day 3: The big adventure!
This day we did the long hike that took around 5-6 hours. Just like the day before we went up with the cabin lift at 10:30 to the base camp. Then we hiked up to the top. At one point we needed to climb around 2 meters. When we came to the top we took a break and drank some water and gave Scooby water. The peak is at 1420 meters over the sea and the air was amazing the breath in but it was really thin. It was a pretty clear day compared to the day before.
After our breake we hiked down the mountain which was a real adventure! when we started to see green fields we also hear thunder and it started to rain A LOT! Luckily the thunder didn't come to us or the mountain. We took cover at a cliff when it rained as worst. After 15 minutes it was almost over and we started to hike again. We came to a big valley with green fields and just at that moment it came to small packs with wild reindeer's, and I got some great shoots of them! When we came down in the valley we took a longer breake I I walked around and filmed a small brook of melted snow.
We continued our hike down the mountain and the nature was almost the same but I don't want to spoil too much for you. We came to an amazing forest which I immediately fall in love with, the greens were so saturated and color full! we walked in the forest for around 1-2 hours.
And then after that we finally came back home and had hiked up to the top and down a mountain.
Day 4: The waterfall and trail race!
We started our day with going to the biggest waterfall in Sweden aca ”Tännforsen”. It was a magic place and I took some epic photos there. I have one of them as a wallpaper and another as my channel banner, and I am planning on putting the best ones on the wall. If you have read this far you are basically interested in ”J Tube Films” and whats going on behind the 2-3 minute video so because of that I will tell you that I am working on building a studio for Tutorials to my second channel. But let's get back to topic. WE hiked a trail in the waterfall area and the nature around it. The waterfall was amazing like I said and the forest around the waterfall was beautiful! It was almost like a rainforest.
At the evening I went into the village and filmed a trail race called ”Cooper Trail”. They didn’t pay me or hire me to film at the event I just filmed it because I thought it would be fun. I filmed there for around 2-3 hours.

So that was my 4 days in Åre which was around 2000 clips and photos to edit. It will soon come a big documentary on Åre that I will soon start to edit.
