In your own view, what is the relationship between cajuns and LA creoles? Are you guys chill with each other or foes? what are your opinions on LA creoles? What is it like having y'all's language(s) almost erased by the US gov.? Are you sad you can't learn the language ya'll originally spoke (Kouri Vini or Cajun French)? Do you have any resources on either (if you're studying either language)?

It's nice to know you're finding more! As far as I know, Cajuns and LA Creoles are fine with each other(in my hometown anyways), while there are racial barriers, my neighborhood was always close knit. I'm deeply saddened to see my language as well as Kouri Vini erased. The US government is awful for what they're doing. I'm not studying either of the languages but I want to and plan to. I hope your transition goes well if you plan on transitioning! <3
