About the artwork: The title of this small series of paintings is: The Character of Water This series of 5" x 7” paintings is about the life of water. In its ubiquity we forget how important water is. Water is life and I consider this series of paintings four brief meditations on the subject. In “Watering Wands” I explore its ability to provide food and sustenance. This indelible compound that travels across space and time. Our great companion in living: water. Hope you enjoy! Just wrapped Day 4 of working on my #vanmuralfest wall in @edgemontvillage Still so much to be done, but I wanted to take a moment to be thankful for all the support from the @vanmuralfest crew helping me learn the ropes as I tackle my first mural project. I truly lucked out with having Kamran and Moji at @kravekultureyogurt to work with. Their spot feels like the heartbeat of the village with just about everyone in town coming by for The Pica Mango Sundae! Thank you for being awesome 🙌🏼🙏🏼❤️ The badass crew of artists also doing VMF walls in Edgemont are a source of constant inspiration! @cynthiatranvo, @siobhanjoseph11 and @theprintmakerandherdog, you rule! Thinking up new colour schemes (while reflecting on some of my old palettes) and found this old painting. I really love the blues and purples in this one. It’s a darker, moodier vibe than I usually do. Which I really enjoy.
