How to professionally avoid giving a speech by Jessica Jung (ft. Soo & Taeng)

"My specialty is spacing out."
Familiar Face - Jessica
(/dragging her feet along the road, the sun only as light as the cool air brushed against her dirt patched skin. It was another trip into the city since Amber needed to find something to sharpen her blades) … (/only the sound of breathing and steps against the road would be heard if anyone else was around. so far she had only ventured into the neighborhoods in the outskirts of Seoul… the last thing she wanted was to go into the city)
{ ; with silent steps, she aimlessly sauntered the deserted road, not even knowing what her goal was at this point but in the near distance, her eyes made out a figure, from afar seeming quite masculine and in that case, her newly found goal was to avoid that mortal, she knew too well humans couldn't be trusted, especially men. but then it came into her realization that whom she spotted was in fact a female, just with a rather tomboyish style and that was relieving. the visage, however, looked incredibly familiar and words absentmindedly escaped her lips, though she wanted to keep them zipped. } ..Haven't I seen you before..?

"Get in!" With those two words being incredibly loudly released, irritation laced with the tone of voice, she somewhat commanded the other to enter -- unless of course, she decided to fall a victim to those zombies which in all and utter honesty failed to bother Jessica due to her own insouciance. Having herself already situated hurriedly in the vehicle, it only took a speedy flick of her wrist to hear the engine almost roar, thank goodness it only took a single try. Her fingers slithered around the steering wheel, foot pressing against the gas pedal with a reasonable amount of force, and as she cursed beneath her breath, the car had started to advance and simultaneously knock any zombies out of their path. A sigh of relief won a battle past her lips, thank goodness the two had managed to make it in on time. Head tilting to the side to view the other's visage, she scanned her pair of eyes over it, briefly analyzing the facial features before refocusing her vision on the road, at last slowing down the pace at which the automobile was going at. "Are you okay?" Her voice was now rather calm, monotonous, her own countenance aloof and very seemingly nonchalant whilst she forced herself to utter that question.

The amount of exasperation caused as a result of constantly having to move, to find different shelters and most importantly to fight off those inhumane beasts is literally beyond indescribable. It never failed to leave Jessica's heart thrashing against her rib cage. This time around, she was forced to change her route and cancel her plans of actually exploring the area due to an overload of the said beasts infesting and blocking off the way completely. She stood no chance against them, the odds were visibly against her and she knew better than to just charge at them. But something had halted her from just leaving at that very moment, it was the unsettling sight of a feminine figure gradually getting cornered, the grunts of the zombies hazardous and audible. From afar, she couldn't really make out the female's facial features, but the figure was apparent. For once, it had actually pained her to watch the struggling female's fate flash before her eyes. She had felt an uneasy feeling at the pit of her stomach, whether it be dangerous to execute such a task, it didn't bother her and the task to rescue that girl from those limping creatures suddenly became a necessity. If she were to just observe her die, she would have possibly hated herself for eternity for not offering the slightest bit of helpful assistance. With no hesitation whatsoever, she heaved out a sigh before her feet speedily guided her towards the location of the female. Once she had arrived, she managed to deliver a few high kicks the the majority of the zombies, her aim successful towards their temple. Of course this didn't kill them, but at least it caught them off guard and gave her enough time to grab the girl's hand into the protective grasp of her own. Not even bothering to catch a closer glimpse of the other girl's facial features, she simply dragged her along as she began to run at her highest speed, knowing that this way the zombies would be robbed of the ability to pursue them due to their slowed down pace, serving to be a great disadvantage.
─ Famished rescue ● Sumin and Jessica
Sumin’s back hit the cold concrete wall, and she slid to the dirty floor. The sounds of her actions and reactions to the cold could be heard through the entire empty building, or at least the floor she was at, but she couldn’t care less. Not that she heard it well either, her own whiny moans of hunger and surprise; all she could hear was her own throbbing heart, the blood flowing through herself up to her head, and her panting breath. The sound must be appealing to the monsters outside, she thought with a slight crooked smile.
As she began to calm down, pain struck her. Her stomach was caving in with emptiness, and it felt like several knives shove into her from all sides. “Whe—” she whispered to herself. When was the last time she had eaten? Two days? Five days? About a week seemed more fitting, and she could feel it taking a toll on her. She felt absolutely helpless. She couldn’t move, she didn’t have any water left, nor any food which seemed to be what she needed. She owned no strength — she was going to die like this. She knew it. At least she would die with her humanity close, right? She could be reunited with her loved ones.
Despite all the positive thoughts she attempted to bring forth, tears were streaming down her face. And no matter how painful it was, soft sobs followed slowly. Sumin couldn’t control them anymore, and she didn’t care if she could be heard by anybody outside or in any of the floors above her. She didn’t care if she was welcoming the flesh-eating zombies in to feed from her fragile body. She felt lost, and emotions were overflowing. “Damn it.” Sumin cursed under her choked breath, her hands balling a tight grasp of her shirt.
At last she had managed to stumble upon some sort of refuge for a breather. Even though the fairly colossal building looked as if it could crumble into billions of pieces at any second, it was shelter and would serve as a location for rest and although it may have not been the greatest one, it was still something. Once she did arrive, she couldn't help but to look around curiously but that was until her ears could make out feminine sobs in the distance which surprisingly made her own being lapse into a complete state of momentary paralysis. For a few moments, she just stood there, listening out for more sounds to reassure herself that her ears weren't playing some sort of tricks on her. Her sense however had not been fooling around with her, the same sound of distant crying was made inevitably audible. She was contemplating on finding out whom that crying belonged to. Eventually, curiosity had gotten the best of her. Her lengthy and slim legs directed her to the source of the constant sobbing and she found herself entering a whole different area, her silent footsteps coming to an immediate halt at the doorway as well as both her eyes locking directly on the small figure of a girl. Weak spots is something Jessica really didn't have for human beings, but this girl had struck her right in that spot and it made it close to impossible to just abandon her like that when she was clearly in some sort of pain, whether it be mental or physical. She felt genuinely sorry, but as the girl appeared to be absolutely harmless and just in need of help, she silently approached her, her thumb slipping beneath the strap of her backpack which contained valuable resources. It only took a few steps before she was before her. Crouching down to the girl's level and simultaneously placing her bag in front of her own being, she flashed the girl an almost microscopic smile and hearing the other's stomach grumble due to hunger, she immediately unzipped her bag. "I'm Jessica..." Introducing herself briefly, she then dug through the things her bag contained before pulling out a chocolate bar as well as a bottle of water, immediately offering it to the girl with her smile gradually growing only slightly wider, the tone of her voice soft and calm. "Here, take those.."
