Its always so interesting to hear about white families that were suffering because they were jewish, in a restrictive society and still were well to do, and very few black people have that same story. VERY VERY FEW. 

This is not a comparison of plight, but black people have still never been made whole by the 400+ years of suffering my race has had to endure.

So I had applied for a new job and I thought I did stellar in the interviews. I made it all the way to interview three. Asked all the right questions and had all the right responses. 

So the recruiter lady who put me up this, calls me today and tells me that she hasn’t heard anything yet and that its safe to say I was not picked x,y,z, etc. 

At first I was very bummed about that, but then I remembered that I wanted to go back to school and get back into design. So I began applying for new programs and now I am trying to figure the best way to get 5k to go to NYC for two weeks to do fashion design at Parsons. 

Sometimes when doors close, other opportunities open.
