What’s a your favourite andreil hc?

Hehe so I have this hc that Neil is just, SO in love with Andrew's hands. You can read my ficlet about it here, but to sum it up:

He feels so safe, under those hands.

They're calloused and rough and a little scarred on the knuckles from past fistfights, and one of Andrew's pinkies is a little crooked (an old Exy injury that didn't heal quite right).

But Neil thinks they're the most beautiful things he's ever seen.

Andrew's hands can be weapons, but for Neil they've only ever been shield.

After Andrew's hair, his hands are one of the safest places for Neil to touch.

Neil loves to just loosely tangle their fingers together when they walk. Just enough to stay connected.

When it's winter and Andrew's knuckles turn red from the cold, Neil likes to kiss them warm again.

He doesn't consciously realize it for a while, but eventually Neil picks up on the fact that 90% of the reason he's able to read Andrew's emotions when others can't is because he's always looking at Andrew's hands.

Because as blank-faced as he can be, Andrew's hands are so expressive.

Fiddling with his keys when he's impatient, twitching for a cigarette when he's pissed, flicking his lighter when he's anxious, brushing his armbands when he's feeling threatened or overwhelmed, touching Neil when he wants reassurance.

Neil speaks many languages, including the little-known dialect of Andrew's hands.
