ANTWERPI pushed myself to try different mediums from pencil and fine liner for this trip. I feel it has paid off as I was able to communicate more with colours and embraced a more calligraphic style by using soft brush pens and ink wash.

Two-point perspective practise at Oxford. With having some experience before the practise, I had confidence in this task and think I performed well.
Practise with still life/ellipses. I am happy with my A3 piece and in some ways reflect the good day with friends of just drawing items. I'm pleased with my lines as they come across as competent, I'm feeling more confident with straight up ink rather than using pencil. Although I cheated when it came to a few things, and I covered the drawing and mistakes I wasn't happy with, with paper to create a clean slate. For the future I want to not have to do that, whether it's by technique or me being happier with my freedom of drawing.
We were set the task of observing items but allying them to four different art movements and styles.Still lifeAbstractDecorativeSimple ink lines.
