Okay of course I’m happy that Malala got accepted to Oxford, but I really want to know more! What did she write for her personal essay- “Just google me bitches”? Did she have to do an interview and if so did she just plonk her nobel peace prize down on the table? Did her student counselor advise her to apply to other crappier places just in case she wasn’t accepted? Was there anyone who actually turned down freaking Malala Yousafzai, I need to know!!

My mom just txt’d this to me. I used a disposable camera to take this photo of my brother doing some trick circa 2002, probably at some history museum in Washington DC. By far some of the best photography I've ever done has been of my brother doing random tricks and flips, captured with those dinky little disposable things.

Read this in one evening today, but it wasn't too hard with all of the illustrations and short chapter breaks. It's essentially about a bubble girl who never leaves home because of an immune disorder...She meets some dude who makes her want more in life. Teen romance and appropriate turmoil ensues. It was odd and yet unsurprising how well I could relate to her. I'd say 4/5 stars. Unfortunately had to dock it 1 star bc of the #awkwardteenageflirting
