New Bird Collection
Thought I would share my latest project, my collection of bird paintings currently available to pre-order on Etsy. The colour palette of the abstracts are inspired by the colours of the birds. Each sale of either the prints or cards will add to a donation pot for RSPB to help British wildlife.

Studio Tour! Before and After a little reorganisation. Currently saving up for some more furniture to help organise the space. Especially in need of shelves, everything is in boxes at the moment so I am always moving them around to get to what I need. Hopefully I can share a fully kited out tour soon!

As life begins to open up I wanted to reflect on the effect that the past year has had on my practice. 2021 marks the Geometric Abstraction
Been thinking about the start of lockdown last year and how it effected my practice.it is so strange to look back and consider where I was and what was happening in my life a year ago.

I wanted to discuss something close to my heart, ways to support artists and their practice. “Artists are like fairies, you have to believe in us for us to continue to survive”, although slightly paraphrase the point remains; artists survive thanks to the communities that build around them.
How do you support the artists you love?
For the first year, the Geometric Abstraction Collection was all done by hand on paper, with the colour tests also being done with graph paper and pen. These sketches were then painted, acrylic on paper, and given their official collection number which you can see on Instagram

Was going to post in the morning but I am excited. I have started a new blog on my website and wanted to share it! Beginning with discussing my creative process as an introduction to me and my work.
