The Ones Who Imagine
✦ humans are most interesting when you complete the pattern yourself ✦
✦ ᛚ ᚦ ᛇ ✦
Does the hypnotist have a favorite subject?
Of course.
But it probably isn't the one people expect.
Not the easiest.
Not the deepest.
Not the fastest.
Those are impressive.
But they're not necessarily interesting.
The unforgettable subjects are often the ones who imagine.
The ones who meet a suggestion halfway.
The ones who build something that wasn't there.
You tell them there are chains.
And somehow they feel the weight.
You mention a blindfold.
And darkness changes shape.
You offer a doorway.
And they return with an entire house.
That's the strange thing about hypnosis.
The hypnotist provides words.
The subject provides worlds.
And sometimes the most talented subjects aren't the ones who obey best.
They're the ones who create best.
