This magical staff has been altered with a set of sights and a stock for ease of use while casting from far away. While attuned to this staff, you gain the effects of the Spell Sniper feat. In addition, if you are prone, you gain a +2 to your spell attack rolls, and do not suffer disadvantage

Mask of the Ooga Booga (uncommon wonderous Item)

While wearing this grotesque mask, your creature type changes to either monstrosity or undead (your choice). In addition, you can take an action to make a Charisma(Intimidation) check, targeting a creature within 10 feet. The DC is equal to (10 + your proficiency bonus). On a success, the creature is frightened of you for 1 minute. Once you’ve successfully frightened a creature in this way, you can’t do so again until you take a short or long rest.

The Thimble of Potential (very rare wonderous item, requires attunement)

When attuned to the thimble, you are proficient in all types of tools. In addition, as an action, you can drink the water the thimble holds, and immediately gain the benefits of a long rest. Once you’ve rested this way, you cannot do so again for 1d6+1 days.

Quest Idea:

A scorned artificer, barred from the local magic school for not using “proper” magic and instead relying on artifacts, goes to the local goblin population.

There, he promises them magic items if they agree to use them on the magic school that shunned him

The goblins, being goblins, happily oblige

Your party now needs to stop a group of rampaging goblins from burning a college to the ground

If you ever want to torture someone, consider forgoing the boring, simple-minded cliches of waterboarding or isolation. Instead, might I recommend something a little more… creative?
