Hello! Is the Tails and Ales server still open? I've been looking for a community to discuss TTRPG art and content, and it looks perfect!

Yep! It's been a while since I said anything about it on tumblr so taking this ask as a solid excuse :D

The ammount of notes on the pocket the street alchemist comic is *nuts*, I have no idea why that's taken off so much. Haven't talked about it so far because it's a lil overwhelming but I'm very appreciative of everyone who's engaged with it! Glad you all like my random weirdo NPC!

Layout of Cid's brewery, Trouble A'Brewin! She's the second-generation owner of The Trouble, inherited from her mom Tali and dad Lox, who started the business after immigrating to the town of Otari to escape the Goblinblood Wars. Originally it was a simple goblin dive-bar, but after word got around of Tali's incredible and magically-infused brews, the bar boomed in popularity, and was eventually expanded to accommodate folks of all sizes.

Cid inherited The Trouble after her parents retired from the business, and has kept up the tradition of magical brews that earned its reputation.

Some design notes:

This is a redesign of an already established character. Nando requested some specifics but gave me a lot of freedom.

The hair texture was requested but specifics in style were left to me. I liked the high bun silhouette a lot but kept the hair around the face similar to the original, although with the new hair texture.

Rare move for me but I made the arm jewellery more symmetrical. Felt it better suited the outfit.

Yellow and white for Sarenrae, blue for Desna, rainbow for Shelyn. Sarenrae symbols have been stylised a lil but are front and centre as it's her main god. Desna symbol (necklace) and Shelyn symbol (rainbow bird charm) have been stylised a lot more. I had to find a balance between including enough of the rainbow for it to be immediately present without overpowering the design, I think I managed that.

Overall shape language hasn't changed too much. More fabric has been put around the hips creating a more bottom heavy look, but the redesign was really about changing things to suit her character's personality and beliefs better. Original art suited her at the start of the campaign, but she's become a lot more serious recently.
