My full outfit for the ball!!

The Duke walked in quite late to the ball, though their hair was slightly tied back a ribbon matching with the usual black and golds he wore, though they were more ornate then usual, glittering when the light caught the threads right. As soon as he walked in his eyes were searching, though as they landed on Jester his face flushed and he looked away hurriedly walking towards the drinks.

Jester noticed him walking in, the gold that adorned them shining off of the lights. She walked over to the bar too, leaving behind the crowd that was mingling around the dance floor.

“Well well well, is someone ignoring me~? How rude!”

They seemed to be mingling with other guests at the bar, exchanging tall tales and gossip before he noticed that Jester had followed him. He then said his goodbyes and walked over to an even more crowded area of the bar.

Jester huffed. Know they were DEFINITELY being rude. She followed behind, the crowd parting for her as she raised her voice “Yoo hoo! You can’t get away that easy-“

Their entire body seemed to jolt the minute her voiced reached his ears, he took a big swig of his drink and turned to face the one coming towards him. “Get away? Whatever could you be talking about?? I was just… admiring the decorations laid out before us, besides it’s good to mingle! Yes.. that is indeed what I was doing.”

”You are a horrible lier, My Duke.” She grins, finally standing face to face with him. “Everyone already knows you.. hey, can you buy me a drink? Pleaseee~?”

His face flushed before he scoffed “Ugh, your terrible, talking to me just for a drink? Everyone knows i what? I doubt you have better gossip than those who actually wish to speak with me.”

”Well, not only for a drink!” She places the hand not holding her fan on her heart in an overdramatized manner. “I just thought a refined person like yourself would indulge a girl.. nevertheless, I do have info for you.. if gossip is the word you wish to use for it~”
