Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

I don't know if staff is looking or if the feedback would matter, but seriously, this is a terrible change that would kill tumblr as we know it. Please, don't roll it out.

look, I can endure any kind of UI changes that are supposed to help tumblr-rookies to understand how this works. They may be a nuisance, but that's ok, we have x-kit or we can get used to buttons being here or there.

But this. This changes the data architecture. This changes the SINGLE THING that makes tumblr the "... yes and" website. This KILLS THE COLLABORATIVE POSTING THAT MAKES THIS SITE DIFFERENT FROM ALL THE OTHER MEDIA PLATFORMS.

Sure! And Ty I didn’t know he had a name!!!

I loved the scenes between him and fizz like I learned asl a while back and was so excited to see it!

Honestly it was Fizzy who brought him home after the stage performance. As soon as he found out Oliver had no (good) family to return to

Asmodeus didn’t know sign language so Fizz teached him it to make communication easier. Asmodeus isn’t as good with it but he can understand it

Oliver is spoiled and Fizz gives him a matching hat when they go out. Oliver and Asmodeus are the only two who get to see Fizzy without his hat.

He comforts Oliver over the loss of his horns and how to own it!

They both honestly have struggles over custody of him since Fizz want to show him around (not in the lust ring ofc!) Asmodeus wants to practice signing at home with him since he’s self conscious

He tries to brush your fur and wings but he only had pony brushes so you need to lend him some decent ones

He’s jealous you can fly and on more than one occasion has tried to get you to carry him while you fly but he is heavy

He mockingly meows at you when mad and then runs before you chase after him

Honestly it wasn’t the worst but I’d be lying if I said it was great.

Honestly I don’t like the turn for Striker and Stella’s characters as they seem…much more dumber and worthless and genuinely shocking that either could be considered ‘villains’ with every plot hole and sheer stupidity.

How did moxxie get arrested for stealing money but the prince can get kidnapped and left at ‘deaths doorstep’ from one Stab, they know where the perpetrators are and that his ex wife is behind it, honestly just do the fandom a favor and get rid of Stella…

Her brother was a cool guy appearance wise but damn Stolas was right, he’s just full of himself.

As a prince Stolas could lock them both up or kill the both and since it’s hell, who the fuck cares? Isn’t that the point? Blitz has shot and killed random civilians and it’s ok, robbery is ok, but anything involving the ‘higher ups’ is a crime so why such huge plot holes in a few episodes?

Ngl it’s not the worst episode but strikers character was very…cringe with that stupid statue thing and how he acted like an angsty teen….

Honestly I really love the design for Mammon and Fizz’s clothes! Asmo too he was so sweet!

Damn the song was great till they started singing if they were silent the entire time that would have been a great song like holy shit I cant describe how bad their singing is, just like Beel, they both have trash lyrics and don’t even sound good. The lyrics too Beel was hella better though

But straight up mammon is trash at singing but at least he was funny and like the silence did add to the humor

Also the sisters did nothing funny? And isn’t it literally cheating since it’s 1v1 etc

I fucking ador Asmo and Fizz’s relationship though it’s so sweet and cute and like it’s been improving the series for me
