Not sure what to post here really. My creative projects are too personal to me and my friends, my philosophical ramblings belong in my notebooks. I think most people like Tumblr as a place to be authentic and weird and silly without any hindrance, but I'm lucky enough to have that IRL... Ahhhh, I figure something out~
today, once more, is the final day for ammar's injection
after such an agonising last week where times were continually dragged out, and deadline after deadline was failed to be met, ammar's health is incredible fragile and poor, especially considering the extreme heat of being exposed in the hospital courtyard without shelter made him have to briefly Return to the hospital.
i'm really begging everyone to do what they can for ammar. the fees for sending money through paypal have been increased again, and the delays mean he absolutely does still need the immune globulin injections even though they were meant to only be for winter
therefore, costs are even higher than before, and we still have to pay them if we want ammar to live

thanks to my friend who generously donated, we now have enough for ammar's most urgent injection. we also urgently require the rest as quickly as possible - the absolute last deadline is 10 am tomorrow gaza time, which would be in 15 hours
anything later than that, and ammar will suffer even more, as well as incur additional fees from the extra medicine he requires. the ideal would be to raise all $1407 more by 10 pm today, and then there would be no concerns. please consider helping to do this

we were, after extreme struggle, and being an hour past the final deadline, finally able to raise enough money for ammar's immune globulin injection
because this took so long, unfortunately, ammar also needs an injection for cardiac resuscitation, as well as the IV fluids i mentioned he would need if his care was delayed.
the cardiac resuscitation injection costs $57 in cash, or $155.80 after fees, and the IV fluids cost $98 in cash, $268 after fees.
we now have to raise money for these as quickly as possible so that he can take them. he will have to take this injection in 3 hours, so we need that at least that $156 by then
samah has informed me that the hospital has set the deadline for paying this at 10 am thursday samah's time, in 14 hours, as after that time they will be closed in order to celebrate eid
not only will ammar get no clothes for eid, not only will she not be able to get him even a mere haircut, but he may not even survive to that point.
certainly no one is donating enough for him to live.
Once again, I know I keep my blogs separate, but these are incredibly urgent circumstances. If you have any money spare to give at all, please help this gazan child survive. But in the meantime, want to bring attention to the fact that there's a general strike happening today. ICE raids have been rampant and innocent people are being harmed, detained and even killed. If you are able, please call your reps, protest, donate to mutual aid, protect your neighbors and organize! Also hit them where it hurts and avoid spending money at all today unless absolutely necessary.
And if not that, at least spread awareness! I've been sharing more resources on instagram
