I'm not American so I'm not well-versed in your history but isn't America built from foreigners and immigrants? Those people a 100 yrs ago who came to your country through Ellis Island. Why are people so against immigrants anyway? Aren't they contributing members to society?

You’re correct on the history but it goes back much further than 100 years ago.

I honestly think people discriminate against immigrants for a few reasons. 1) It’s something different and people are uncomfortable with different. 2) They want to make sure they’re the ones doing the discriminating. They want to be at the top of the digital echelon.

People are so busy fighting over the last cookie they can’t see that someone else ran off with the whole plate…. They want jobs, land, social standing. They’re going to make sure they keep it from the guy with the accent vs seeing the 1%ers that ran off with so much more.
