Expectations

I walked over the Mass Ave orange line bridge today and someone was shocked and confused that it was starting to snow, “it’s Spring for christ’s sake.” I’ve always dug the motto of New England weather: “If you don’t like it, wait a few minutes.” It always changing. Constant inconsistency. If you don’t like your thoughts, wait a few minutes. If you don’t like your feelings, wait a few minutes. I expect the unexpected, almost but not quite as much as I expect normalcy. But I don’t expect the unexpected MORE than the expected, that would just be a change of perspective, and my perspective has been the same for a while: things are getting crazier.

Slender spider valley

Erica facetimed me from inside a sedan, she was on a road trip with her friends going to a big valley. She started showing me around and I teleported through the phone to where they were in the valley. One of her friends was dressed in a pizza costume and the other was in a skinny shark costume, and they started running to a giant spider statue that was standing on the face of a hill. The pizza man grabbed the back of the spider and pulled it upright, exposing the face of hill and it was made of stone that started sinking downward making a hole that seemed elastic. The man in the shark suit jumped into the sinking hole back first with his arms crossed against his chest like when you go down a water slide. Then the hole suddenly shot back up and the man's body had become part of the rock, but only his face showed and it was as large as the whole rock face. He had his eyes closed and there were black paint markings on his cheeks and forehead. He looked holy and peaceful. Then the face started sinking like before and the pizza man jumped into the hole and it just kept sinking. I ran behind a tree to witness this creepy ritual when a Rorschach-like face on slenderman's body poked out from the other side of the tree. I started to back up but he grew ten times taller and the pattern on his face seemed to be smiling and he started to stomp toward me in jerking alien movements, and everytime he stepped orchestral strings sounded until he stepped on me and I died.
