"Mavericks like you need to be destroyed." She spat, analyzing Freeze with disdain.
"âŠ"
The chained Reploid didnât even look up to acknowledge Jet, her only response being a small, raspy hum.
Jet put her hand to a panel, typing in a few codes. In that instant, the bars slid open. She walked inside the dark cell, her eyes practically glowing in the darkness. She stood in front of Freeze, face to face with her now.
"When they find your cell after Iâm done, they wonât find anything.â
There was the sound of a blade retracting as Jet stared to Freezeâs eyes, a cold expression in them. "Donât worry, Iâll make it painless."
"Alright, cool."
Freeze stared right back at her, not even the slightest hint of a damn given shown in her expression. She then stifled a yawn, closing her eyes. âMaybe Iâll take a nap while I wait for you to get on with it⊠Youâre certainly taking long enoughâŠâ
Jet scoffed, raising her blade to her neck.Â
"Allow me to get to the point then."
With a quick slash, Jet's blade sliced through the chains, the metal whining sharply as her blade turned red hot from cutting through them. In one swipe, Freeze would be released. She then proceeded to cut the binds on her body, cutting them one by one before her blade retracted back into her arm.
"Let's go."
"Mavericks like you need to be destroyed." She spat, analyzing Freeze with disdain.
"âŠ"
The chained Reploid didnât even look up to acknowledge Jet, her only response being a small, raspy hum.
Her expression did not change, her brow only furrowed. "Iâm not speaking to anybody, Iâm speaking to a Maverick." She spat, her teeth gritting slightly. "You arenât even worth the cell that you rot in."
And Freeze proceeded to roll her eyes.
"Yeah, try telling that to the people on the ground floor. Iâm sure theyâll love your input.â She scoffed, her tone scornful. âAccording to them, Iâm worth quite a bit⊠At least, after they completely rewrite my AI and turn me into a mindless fighter. This world works differently than yours probably does, assuming youâre from a different âverse.
I may be labeled as Maverick, but Iâm doing what I can to get by. Donât have much else of a choice.â
Jet put her hand to a panel, typing in a few codes. In that instant, the bars slid open. She walked inside the dark cell, her eyes practically glowing in the darkness. She stood in front of Freeze, face to face with her now.

The chained Reploid didnât even look up to acknowledge Jet, her only response being a small, raspy hum.
"Iâve read reports on you." She practically sneered as she stared to her, her face closer to the prison bars as she looked down at her. "Yet, they still keep you alive. I donât understand it."
She gripped the bars, her dark purple eyes squinting with anger.
"Youâre all the same to me."
"Nice story, darling⊠Now, if youâre not here to either get me out of here or give me the daily rations, you might as well scoot on out and go insult someone else. Youâre wasting your time."
Freeze glanced up at her, crimson eyes narrowed in irritation. âOnly reason I havenât been able to break out yet is because trying to do so would pop my arms off at this angle. Otherwise, you would be talking to thin air, which Iâm sure you do a lot. No one likes hanging out with people that have such a sour attitude.â
Her expression did not change, her brow only furrowed. "Iâm not speaking to anybody, Iâm speaking to a Maverick." She spat, her teeth gritting slightly. "You arenât even worth the cell that you rot in."

Colonel walked into her office. Colonels face read that he wasn't in the mood for games. "Do you have a moment madam?"
Jet was in the training room, her eyes sharp as she sent a kick to a punching bag, but stopped as she saw Colonel come in.
"Yes sir, what is it?"Â She said as she saluted.
"As you know, the Thor cannon was destroyed. There would be no possible way to collect any remains since any thing left burned in the Atmosphere. I was wondering if you could go and run an errand for me. Itâs nothing difficult and nothing that requires you to go into combat."
"Combat is something that I am proficient in sir, but I would be willing to do whatever you needed me to do. What do you need?"
"I need you too do some research. I need you to look for a steel mills or metal making companies. Reliable oneâs as well."
He smiled.
"Do take your time. I do believe you can find it."
"âŠ.Understood. However, if I might ask, for what reason?"Â
Jet stood firm, her expression as neutral as it normally was as she asked the question. While she would carry out the request, she certainly felt a right to know.
"I have an idea. I wish to show it to Mr.Jacob. I donât want you to contact these fills or factories. I just want you to find them and list them. I well explained them to you after Mr.Jacob approves of this."
She nodded to Colonel.
"Yes sir." She nodded as she saluted once more. "When do you want dispatched? I await your command."
Colonel walked into her office. Colonels face read that he wasn't in the mood for games. "Do you have a moment madam?"

Hana stumbles into the rift
Emotion.
Anger.
It was flooding through her body like a violent river. She wanted to kill. She wanted to destroy this thing that was attacking her brother. Azure was usually the one trying his best for everyone, doing his best to become strong. She would not let him down. He deserved better than this. She would not allow this monster to have the satisfaction of pulverizing her brother. And while Ruby was not being attacked, she would do her best to prevent that too.
Her eyes glowed a violent purple from the emotion she was experiencing. It was taking all of her willpower to not just scream out and take this thing head on. Instead she had been watching, sneaking. Every this foe made a sound or a movement, Jet had crept closer, her body moving quietly in the battlefield.
She was cloaked, but that didnât guarantee a sneak attack. She would never underestimate someone who could pin Azure to the ground. As angry as she was, she was wary, and cautious. She could feel the anxiety, the tension of her preemptive strike. Her plan. It was what set her apart. She was a deceiver, a sneak. She carefully added two vials of crippling poison into her bracers, saturating her blades in the concoction.
It was when she had gotten close enough, and when the demon had prepared to throw the punch did Jet make her move. She wouldnât allow this thing to lay another finger on Azure, Ruby, or his new friend.
The sound of a grappling hook exploded into the battlefield, the hooks exploding outward, the hooks whistling in the wind as they impaled themselves into the beast. The Hunter uncloaked, her face deadly, her pupils constricted with utter rage as she jumped forward, the jarring whine of her cable slicing itâs way through the air as she was now directly behind him.
However, instead of releasing the cable, Jet gave it some slack, and used the momentum to fling herself over the beast, landing nearly inches away from Azure. She cried outward, a roar full of blood lust as she activated the cableâs electric current, sending volts upon volts into the monster. And after that, she had unsheathed her blades, which looked glossy and fluid due to the coating of poison.
"ERAAGH!" She roared, aiming to embed both blades directly into itâs chest. If she were successful, she would hop upward, plant both feet into the beastâs chest, and kick off, releasing the blades and the hook in the process.
Trying to keep up the pace with the rest of the Knights - and mildly thankful for her auto-repairs - Hana found that they were heading toward where Emer was and then back to the Landing Zone. Much to her voiced surprise upon reaching him and running alongside him, the Knightâs leader in one sweep took her on his back as they sped forward. It only took one look from behind to see why - enough for her to hold on tightly to Emer.
More of those hounds.
They were at a disadvantage at the moment - most of the ranged weaponry are now out of bullets or juice, and while she found her companions extremely skilled, they could only hold off so much - plus her barely holding off on her own without her armed crossbow would definitely make her quite a target.
Looking back, she had a sharp intake of breath when Azure was overtaken. It seems that he wouldâve manage to knock the hounds off when from out of nowhere someone smashed onto him and pinned him to the ground. A strange mix of horror and anger overcame her when she realized that one, whoever it was, he was wearing Infraâs bloodied armor. The second realization was, it was not Infra - no matter how she wished it to be it wasnât him but someone elseâŠ
Someone who desecrated a fallen Knightâs armor apparently was also bent on smashing Azureâs face into the ground.
She cried out for his name - no, she couldnât take another one falling like that in front of her; the image of Infraâs mangled corpse adding depth to that cry.
No moreâ!
As though someone had heard it, out of nowhere, several hooks embedded themselves into Azureâs attacker, taking him off of Azure. It was then a vision of black appeared within the circle of hounds, in front of the Knight, then in a second, leaping and then all she could see were sharp sparks of light that could only come from an electric source.
Whoever that was, the person was hell bent on dishing punishment on the one who found it extremely amusing to pummel Azure to the ground.
Azure gasped deeply as he put his forearms in front of his face to block the incoming punch. His eyes were closed tight in anticipation of impact, when he heard the whizzing of metal wire through the air, and a sharp piercing noise emitting from his attackerâs torso. He opened his eyes to see that hooks had dug themselves into the Entity, now acting as conductors for a strong electrical currentâŠÂ âJet!!â His worries were somewhat quelled for the moment, knowing he had backup on this encounter. He knew this monster was strong, and mindset definitely played a factor here.. The thing wore Infraâs armor. Azure found no amusement in this at all.. As soon as he could, he darted up to his feet while the Entity was occupied with electricity. That seemed to be all he had time for though, as the doppelganger-Knight was still making advances towards them. This is when Jet jammed her blades into the monster. The scream of anger she gave out was overpowered by a strong laughter from the Entity as he thought the armor would prevent penetration. That didnât happen. It grunted in pain as her blades entered his texture-less black body. This angered Entity, only causing him to push against the blades and throw his fists toward Jet. They were good punches at that, having significant damage possibilities. One after another, the hounds that surrounded them went after the other, now long-gone Knights. Emer looked back as they neared the Evac Site, sighing in deep frustration. Wait⊠If they could make it to Evac first, theyâll have enough firepower on the ship to defend themselves and retrieve the Knights who were left behind! //Anyone whoâs coming for Evac, Bring Weapons, as many as you can!//
Jet's eyes were boring directly into Entity's, her face in a seemingly permanent scowl as she had done her best to make her emergence as painful as it possibly could be. It was satisfying to see that they had embedded themselves into the monster's flesh. The armor was possibly the most shocking thing to her, but it was bottled up inside her. She didn't show the concern on her face for her fallen brother's armor being worn as a trophy. Right now, she was a weapon, the only thing that would be smeared on her face was a merciless scowl.
"Azure! Get yourself into position, he's not going down!" She roared as she had looked back to him. A foolish move on her end.
The second she turned back, a fist had landed sharply into her stomach, causing the Reploid to gag incredibly, her eyes going white from the amount of power this monster had exhibited.
"Guhah...!" She gurgled, the impact lifting her off her feet for a moment as he head shot upward from the force. She felt her blades retract into her arms, the nauseating sensation from the punch was overcoming her senses as she fought to remain conscious.
It was a stupid thing she did. Risking herself like that. She knew that she couldn't handle pain as well as the others. It's why she tried to kill quickly. But this thing was about to kill Azure, about to pulverize him. She wouldn't lose another. She already lost one. They were Knights afterall... brothers and sisters in arms.
He voice would then break into a sharp scream as the second fist landed clean into her face, sending her body flailing helplessly across the land. She hit the ground until her body fell into a tumble, a lifeless heap on the ground.
Too much pain.
Her systems were delicate, this kind of abuse was something she always tried to avoid. A small shudder went through her body as she winced, her eyes staring blankly in the air.Â
But it was worth it. It was for her brother.
"...."
Hana stumbles into the rift
Hana looked up as Azureâs voice cut through their reverie. It was then that she felt her twin sisterâs stronger nudges through their link.Â
Sakura?
But she couldnât recover enough to voice out, as she was quickly led by Azure and Ruby out of the area. It took a while for everything to sink in as she looked at the male Knight. âAzure? Where are we going?!â
_____________
Sakuraâs eyes widened - she felt her sister react to her presence but why is it that the tracker is indicating that sheâs moving away from where she is? Shouldnât she be waiting for her or at least move toward her?
She bit her lip - this was bad. She deactivated her tracker, the program taking up quite a lot of charge. Hana couldnât go to her, and sheâs moving away.
ââŠHana⊠What have you gotten yourself into this time?!" She muttered in Italian as she pushed forward, the coordinates of Hanaâs last location her next destination.
Azure was running with Hana and Ruby; Emer was relieved to see. However, something he was less excited about at the moment was what he heard behind him⊠The pitter-patter of dozens- neigh, hundreds of thick metal paws on the wet concrete ground could be heard coming from around the corner of the very tall building. At this point he was running as fast as his motorized limbs could allow. It was a majestic sight, maybe not even classified as running, more like a very strong lunge spanning several meters at a time. As soon as he caught up with the rest of the team, he reacted quickly but was moving too fast to be able to warn them ahead of time. He grabbed Hana and threw her onto his back, knowing that she wouldnât be able to travel on her feet as fast as a Knight in Evac Protocol. Azure and Ruby were surprised by the Leaderâs decision, but didnât question it, flashing their acknowledgement lights into his HUD and moving full speed ahead towards their previous Landing Zone, in hopes that theyâll be out of range of the jammer by the time they got there.
The dogs got ever closer to the group, seemingly targeting Azure this time. As fast as he was, the dogs were just barely faster. The dark-blue Knight felt one jump onto his back, quickly throwing it off and firing his buster behind him. "Where do you think youâre headed???"  The demonic voice shouted through the cold air as the figure with the red Knightâs armor descended from the heavens and slammed Azure into the ground with all its plentiful weight. They skid across the ground, coming to a quick and ungraceful stop, with the Entity pulling Azureâs helmet off and smashing it on the ground next to him. All the hounds seemed to back off as the Being was working on his kill. He laughed as he pinned down the struggling Knight, with his hand constricting the airflow. "Heâll be happy to see the trophies weâve brought home todayâŠ"Said the Spectre, preparing to throw some very dense punchesâŠ

maverick-hunter-axl started following you.
It wasnât often that the prototype made itâs way through the world.
Jet, while respecting his feats, could never understand the happy go lucky attitude. Sure, they never met, but Jet was well aware of who Axl was. The Maverick Hunters were famous, they saved the world, it was common knowledge.
"A rare sight to behold, the boy who lived against a fatal injury. Not sure how you did it."
"Eh?" Axl blinked, turning toward the unfamiliar voice and tossing the newcomer a friendly smile. "Who, me? Egh, considering how much I tend to get myself roughed up"-mostly for the fact of not thinking things through-"I guess Iâm just used to it, heh."
He tipped his head slightly. âWho might you be, miss?â
Jet made her way to to the famous Reploid. She wasn't normally this social, but her curiosity was something that needed to be addressed in a situation like this.
"You took a shot to your weak spot, and lived. I don't know how you did it, but something held you together. No sheer force of will can withstand that quick of an attack and live."
Her eyes shot and looked at Axl's figure, trying to find any obvious abnormalities. "How did you recover from that?" She asked, clearly ignoring his attempt to get her name.
Training Session (infrazure)
The compliments did not elicit a reaction from the silver haired Reploid, as she continued to look to Emer, listening carefully. He was doing what he usually did. She appreciated the advice, and Emer was someone she constantly listened to. A great asset, keep on your toes. It was easy enough, but it made the Knight feel good. A small smile forming on her face.
She merely glanced to the hand on her shoulder, looking to it for a few seconds before slowly looking back up to him. She disliked people touching her out of combat, but she knew Emer was a rare case. He didnât mean anything negative by it. It was just the way the Knight always had been.Â
"No one has ever benefited from a âLone Wolfâ running around and honking their own horn."
"âŠ.."
She glanced sharply to him, but a word did not escape her lips. She knew what he was saying⊠but it always felt so foreign to her. She respected her comrades, but she never felt like she had needed their help. Maybe it was a bit of arrogance. She was never one to speak up in group meetings. She was left out of the circle. She didnât even really talk to anyone besides Emer. It felt better being isolated.Â
Her frown stayed as she continued to look ahead, but silence had continued to plague her as she did not even look back behind her as Emer began his sessions. Her fists tightened. She did not want to be with anyone else.
"âŠI donât need anyone else." She spoke, a shadow covering her eyes as she began to punch the bag in front of her, but it was clear that her mind was elsewhere. Emer had always given her pretty good guidance, but this was something that would not be easy. The smacks of fist on bag echoed even sharper, as more vioor was slammed into each punch, trails of purple energy remaining after the fist landed.
"âŠ.."
Her teeth were grit hard as she slammed her foot straight into the bag, knocking it off the chain.
Emer sighed and paused his training session upon hearing the ruckus that Jet was making. He knew why.. This sort of behavior was exactly what he was talking about and anticipating from her. That was the one fault she had in her whole persona, she seemed to be letting her emotions get the best of her. Regardless of who it was though, this behavior was unacceptable. Emer sheathed his sword and turned around quickly, looking over at Jet and the downed punching bag. His glare was intense, conveying both disappointment and frustration with the Assassinâs attitude.
"Jet, This is not the place, or time to be acting like that. Youâre a Knight. We should be the ones protecting the image of Repliforce, not the ones soiling it.â His tone was harsh and stern as he expressed his feeling of disdain toward her at the moment. He had a certain way about him that could turn anyoneâs beautiful day into a dispirited mess, but he always had a damn-good reason for it.
She stared quietly at the downed bag, a contained rage burning in her eyes. Her muscles tensed, her fists shaking as she stared ahead, not looking to Emer at all as she heard him make his way over yet again. She could feel it rising in her. She had not been this angry about something in a while. She honestly had no expected it to be directed towards Emer.
Who the hell did he think he was?
"We should be the one's protecting the image of Repliforce, not the ones soiling it."
Jet felt herself grow rigid as she heard that, the emotions inside of her swirling like a caustic vortex. Normally she was reserved, but the fact that Emer was questioning her way of life, and the way he was going about it, really had set her off. Slowly, her body turned back to his, a sick, nasty glare making it's way to Emer's eyes.
She wanted to scream at him, tell him how wrong he really was... but she didn't. Something held her back. She respected Emer, and she knew that Emer had respected her as well. This was just something that both had entirely different viewpoints on. She did not have control over his opinion, and she knew that he was only trying to help. She sighed quietly, her eyes closing gently, the anger and stress slowly seeping out of her.
For a few moments, she stood there with her eyes closed, pondering what Emer had said. It wasn't until she opened her eyes did she look back up to him, her eyes now softer, more relaxed.
"...I appreciate what you are trying to do Emer." She spoke softly, her eyes dejecting away from his for a moment as she looked to the side. "...I get it. I know you want us all to work together. I understand we are a group, and we should be closer..." Her eyes met with his again. "...But I can't do it." She admitted, and feeling a little weak inside for the honesty.
"At least not right now. I can't bring myself to work with the others consistently, and I don't feel comfortable with them. I hardly know them Emer. Maybe it's me, but I don't like it." She wiped a hand through her hair, sighing once more as she held her hand on her forehead. "I do my best, I try, but... it's not who I am. I can't force myself to do something I don't accept inside."
She placed her hand on her hip, and with her other hand she massaged her temple, trying to cope with the stress. "...I hope you can understand, I'm not trying to be a burden or difficult," she spoke with a softer tone now, somewhat rare for her "...I just need space."
