Once she'd made it to the living room, she made herself comfortable on the couch. "Honestly, I was such a sweaty mess, I just jumped in the shower," she laughed. "It was fine. Just a couple pre-tapes for tv tomorrow, but I'll have a match before the show unless something changes." If it were up to were, she would have been wrestling more. But, it wasn't for a lack of pleading with management. "How was your weekend, babe?" she asked.

He nodded faintly as she talked, not really surprised by what she said. It was common lately, it seemed, when it came to work for her. " It's bullshit that they don't have you wrestling more, even if it was on Evolve," he said, making a face. He knew how much she just wanted to wrestle, so he got mad at her for the fact that she wasn't able to. " It was fine, a little boring if anything," he said calmly. " And you?" he asked, his voice staying as calm as possible.

It was certainly a choice to travel for Collision when her boyfriend wasn't needed. But, Clark was. And that had been the catalyst for her decision, continuing something she should have stopped after the first time. Selfishly, she hadn't. She'd enjoyed her weekend regardless, even with Finlay's silent disapproval. Even with flights home getting delayed, they made the best of it. She'd gotten home late and then had to be up early for work so she didn't get to see much of her boyfriend yet.

After training and pre-tapes, she'd come home to take a shower. Pulling on shorts and a t-shirt, she looked around for Kevin. She knew she should tell him the truth, but that selfish part of her didn't want to. "Babe?" she called out, moving towards the living room as she figured that was a safe bet.

" In here," he said calmly from where he currently was on the couch. He shifted faintly so it looked like he was more relaxed than he was actually feeling at the moment. Kevin had definitely gotten a little too much in his own head. " Didn't hear you get in." he said slowly as she reached the living room. " How'd work go?" he asked, trying to keep the conversation going. He was afraid of what the silence would bring if he let it go quiet.

That's fair and understandable, but not talking ot her is going ot just make it worse and who knows you'd be surprised by how she feels too.

I mean, I also wasn't trying to ruin her birthday either. It's just...a lot to figure out.

Last thing I wanna do is hurt her. Yes, I know it's unavoidable. Never used to believe that people just fell out of love, thought it was just bullshit that cheaters used.
