Fall is coming. Is Summer over?
If you look at the calendar , summer will be over in a few days. Soon Autumn will come and we will soon start thinking about scarves and short winter days. But before that we will enjoy the last warm sunny days and the leaves that are falling from the trees and will crash under our steps along the boulevards of our cities. But, when I stroll along the way, instead of chrusing leaves I am attracted by them, I collect them and then ," when on my couch I lie , in a vacant or pensive " ( just to cite Wordsorth's famous poem) I think about the collected leaves and find a way to transform them in beautiful unique jewels. Se guardiamo il calendario l'autunno entrerà fra qualche giorno e presto penseremo alle sciarpe e ai brevi giorni invernali. Ma prima di tutto ciò godiamoci ancora gli ultimi tepori d'estate e le foglie che cominciano a cadere dagli alberi e scricchiolano allegramente sotto i nostri passi. Mi capita però che quando io cammino lungo un bel viale alberato non pesto le foglie , ma le osservo , ne vengo attratta e le raccolgo. e quando torno a casa e ripenso alla mia passeggiata mi tornano in mente le belle foglie che ho raccolto e immagino un modo per trasformarle in bellissimi gioielli.
