Yeah pretty much I see a fast break down and who the hell wants to teach that thing to jump under saddle? Cause I don’t. I don’t wanna take it over a crossrail and it pull that
do you ever feel yourself slowly losing your current hyperfixation but you’re not particularly interested in anything else rn so you have nothing to fill that void and ur just bored and ready for death
This is uncomfortably accurate
i feel so called out rn
I smile on and off the horse :)

I’ve been galloping for 4 years now, and these are things I’ve learned. Horse racing is a different environment, majority of trainers/owners/riders/grooms are the nicest people. They wake up super early in the morning, and stay late at night. It’s seriously a full time job, without any days off. Everyone is very family like, from my experience everyone helps everyone. Without being paid, just to help others catch up. Most trainers/owners adore their horses so much, they spend most of their time, and money into their horses, then they do for themselves. If that doesn’t say how much these trainers love their horses, then idk what does. Of course I’m not saying all, that’s like saying everyone in other disciplines are like gods all the time. Just horse racing is more gets more publicity, and you hear more about it, then any other disciplines. Most people get all pissy when it comes to the whole, “pulling,” situation. The best way I can explain is like being in a warm up arena. You got all these other horses, not a lot of room, and your horse decides to go for a run. Your telling me you won’t pull? Or pull them into a circle? That’s pretty much how it is in horse racing, expect you have 20-100 horses on the track. The horse pulls on themselves 99% of the time. But when you got that many people on the track, and your horses wants to go even though the trainer asked for a nice, steady gallop, not a full out run. You have to grab a bit more rein, and pull back a bit. If you don’t, and your reins start slipping, and your not wanting to pull. Your asking for trouble, you can get the horse hurt, which the trainer wouldn’t be so happy about, get yourself hurt, or get others hurt. So sometimes you have to pull in order to be safe. Every horse is different some you can let the reins loose, and they won’t run off, other want to rip your arms off just to slip a bit of rein so they can take off. This industry has high expectations, and if make a simple mistake your rep can be hurt. So when a trainer wants a gallop, and your riding a really strong horse you better have a tight rein. Because you can turn them into a circle, or bring them to a trot.

I love how nature simply is. It doesn’t pretend. It doesn’t conceal. It whispers, it sings, it reveals. It takes from itself and gives abundantly back to itself. It transforms but it never alters. It fiercely punishes but it also preserves and contains. Such raw magnificent simplicity and honesty in its processes. The entire verb “to be” freely flowing and teaching sustenance, truth and raw perseverance.
