Wanted to buy stuff, got a call from my sister right in front of the supermarket and decided not to do both things at the same time. Because overwhelming. So outside the supermarket I stood. Obviously Aska had tracked me already. Within a few moments I had the whole family sitting around me. Aska, Rhun and the child. I will call the child Meena. They probably won't stay after winter but as long as they are here I think they should be properly addressed. Meena is timid. They want snacks but they are spooked when I throw anything their way. So Rhun collected those instead. And in the end they were kind and generous enough to drop one tiny, little piece for Meena. With a look that said: "Feckin hell, child. Get a grip."

Had surgery today (i slowly but surely come to hate anything to do with teeth...). Went home afterwards and was greeted by the hoodlums.

They followed me to the farmacia, then to the supermarket and then up the street to the point where the territories merge.

Needless to say, I felt very safe. I was worried at first because I had no food to give. But... nope. They were all very polite.

And humans didnt bother me at all which was very nice in my current state.

It successfully got rid of the body.

....1 hour in and I'm already close to tears.

The Child is home.

Surgery went well.

BUT

Now the Child is high as a kite. And it really, really dislikes the neck-thingy it has to wear. So even drugged out of its mind it managed to get that thing off 2 times already. Meaning the vets had to put it in a body. Which looks ridiculous.

That, however, the Child dislikes even more.

It won't lie still. It is breathing like a racehorse before collaps.

And I can't do anything. Also my flat is warm. Because of course it is.

what people don’t understand about how adhd is disabling is that it’s not just getting temporarily distracted from, like, school work or hobbies. it’s getting distracted/being unable to motivate yourself to go to the doctor, eat regularly, do hygiene tasks, etc. it’s not knowing when or how long it will take you to do something, ANYTHING, and in many cases that thing is taking a shower or keeping your house from turning into a biohazard. it’s about being fundamentally incapable of controlling your attention and focus on anything, even and especially things you need to do to survive.
