I almost forgot but today marks 9 years since my first big chop. I’ve had so many crazy ups and downs with my natural hair, but I wouldn’t take it back for anything. Cutting all my hair off was one of the first things I did to separate myself from the norm. And 9 years later, I haven’t looked back.
