Spirit Blossom Rengar design for Between Realms! I'm really proud of how he turned out...

I wanted to share some of the behind the scenes stuff that led to the final design, bc he went through a lot to get there, and it was also fun and I just want to post them lol

This was the first round of preliminary sketches!

The rest of the process sketches below!

These were the top contenders after like 2 more rounds + the first set of weapons:

And this ended up being the final design + some of the different patterns I tried so his clothes wouldn't look as plain:

The first color palette bc he was originally gonna be akana but I forgot the other Rengar was also akana, and there was no kanmei Rengar so I switched to the lighter pastel colors of the kanmei:

I had such a hard time picking between them bc i LOVE brunette Rengar but I also love the pink ones, so in the end I just crammed all of these into the same page...

And this was more or less the 3-4 months gestation period for my son... Idk there was just so much work towards the one final image, it just felt like a shame not to share these... He is very dear to me...
