Aaron Bushnell died. The active duty US soldier who self immolated in front of the Israeli embassy died of his wounds - he died screaming “Free Palestine” as he burned. He said he no longer wanted to be complicit in genocide. This is the second person to self immolate because of Palestinian Genocide and I hope his story doesn’t get swept under the rug like the first.
please remember that a ceasefire has not been reached yet and that israel's attacks have actually recently ramped up. people are also still being starved. combat this by donating to gaza soup kitchen

While the world celebrates Christmas this year with love and joy, my family in Gaza is living through pain, fear, and death.
My 5-year-old son, Ibrahim, was seriously injured by shrapnel from a bomb last month. After days in the hospital, he was discharged in critical condition—not because he recovered, but because there were no more beds for the growing number of wounded. He left the hospital, but his wounds remain unhealed. He desperately needs urgent medical care that is unavailable here.
Christmas, for us, is not a time of joy. It’s a fight for survival. While children around the world unwrap gifts, my son struggles to stay alive. While homes are decorated with lights, our homes remain destroyed and dark.
For over a year, we’ve endured endless bombings, displacement, hunger, and fear. Yet, despite the pain, we still hold on to hope.
How You Can Help
Ibrahim urgently needs medical evacuation and treatment outside Gaza. Any support can make a life-saving difference.

I’m Anas Basil, a recent high school graduate with dreams of a brighter future through studying e-business management and building a career. But the war has shattered everything. After graduating with a 93% average, I enrolled at Khan Younis Training College (UNRWA), only to find that it’s now a shelter for displaced families instead of a place for education.
My younger brother, Ahmad, 14, is known as the "Doctor of the Future" because of his extraordinary talent in mathematics. However, the war has kept him out of school for two consecutive years. Ahmad is also a gifted football player who used to win tournaments, but the war has taken that away from him too.
The war forced our family to flee to Rafah, where we lived in a tent for several months. Every day is a struggle for survival—fetching water, gathering wood, and making a fire.
🎯 We are seeking €29,000 to:
- Secure safe passage out of Gaza and cover education fees to help us pursue our dreams.
- Provide Basic Essentials—food, clean water, and medical supplies—to support our family’s day-to-day survival in Gaza.

Youssef, 12 years old, represents the spirit of a child who defies difficulties. Despite the harsh conditions, he loves playing football in the street with other children, and dreams of becoming a professional football player one day. This passion can be a focus to attract support from individuals and organizations interested in sports and the development of young talent.
Nour, 7years old, has a heart full of dreams. She loves playing with dolls, and often talks about her dream of a beautiful house like Barbie's. She loves drawing with colors on the available papers, and imagining her own world. Hearing stories before bed, especially those that end with happy endings. Feeling the care and tenderness of those around her.

Hello everyone, I am Ahlam, 21 years old. My life before the war was simple, filled with ordinary dreams like any young woman my age. I envisioned a future full of the ability to help others. I lived with my family in a warm house full of love and security, thinking about how I could achieve my dreams and become an impactful person in society.
But suddenly, everything changed. The war swept through our city like a relentless storm. In a single night, my home became just a memory, and the city I once knew crumbled before my eyes. The sound of planes and shells became the only thing people could hear. We tried to find shelter, a safe place to hide our dreams and lives, but the war followed us wherever we went.
We were forced to leave everything behind—the house, the memories, and even the university. We became displaced, homeless, with no destination, just trying to survive. I walked with my family through unfamiliar roads, searching for a place to take us in, trying to escape danger, running from one explosion to the next, from one ruin to another.
The war didn't just destroy our city and homes, it destroyed our dreams. My dream of completing my studies became far out of reach, and every day, I feel hope slipping further away. But despite all this, something inside me refuses to give up. There is a desire to escape this reality and build a new life, a life worth living. I dream of continuing my education, I dream of standing on my own feet again and achieving the goal I was once striving for: to help others who have lived through the pain of war like me.
I ask for your help, humbly. I can't get out of these circumstances on my own. The donations you gather will help me travel to a safe place where I can continue my studies and start a new life away from war and fear. The amount I'm asking for is the key to a new life, to the dream of becoming strong again and one day helping my family and community.
Help me rebuild my life and become the person I dreamed of being. Every donation, no matter how small, is a step towards safety, a step towards a better future.
Thank you for reading my words. Many thanks and respect to you
