Another dumb thought/idea that popped in my head.

Enid keeps forgetting how much stronger she's gotten since wolfing out for the first time. She gets a quick reminder of this one day while frantically searching for her favorite headphones. Wednesday walks into their shared dorm and witnesses the chaos of Enid haphazardly throwing things over her shoulder and mumbling "where are they?!" to herself repeatedly. Not being in the mood to deal with whatever all that is about Wednesday silently goes to her bed and picks up a book to read until the chaos has subsided.

Enid hasn't even noticed Wednesday is in the room and in her frantic state rushes over and starts throwing things on Wednesday's bed behind her, just like she'd been doing with the rest of the doorm. Pillow, blanket, book, Wednesday, followed by a loud thud behind her. Only then does it register in Enid's brain that (A) she's not alone in their room anymore, and (B) she literally just tossed her roomie/bestie/crush over her shoulder and heard her crash on the floor.

Slowly turning around to try to apologize and hopefully convince Wednesday not to stab her, Enid jumps back at the sight of Wednesday standing inches from Enid's face, pupils blown wide and breathing heavily. Before Enid can say anything Wednesday rasps "again!". Still in shock and not sure how respond Enid stammers "wha what?". Wednesday grabs Enid by the tie of her school uniform and says "do it again Querida, and this time like you mean it" before kissing Enid quickly but firm then stepping back with an impatient expression on her face.

Yoko and Divina cuddling and watching a movie together.

Repeatedly hears loud thumps followed by gleeful/maniacal laughter

Yoko: Well I guess Enid and her tiny gremlin finally realized they're in love.

Divina: About time too. (Raises volume on the movie to drown out the sounds of Wednesday and Enid)

Wednesday: Again and again was I savagely handled and humiliated. It was as though every breath rudely driven from my lungs took with it a piece of my humanity.

Wednesday: With each brutal heave, I became more akin to a scrap of refuse. Mere trash to be discarded. Never have I felt more objectified. More degraded. More dehumanized.

Wednesday: She is a monster that I can only hope will visit such trauma upon me with inexorable frequency. So I say again—

Wednesday: *bares her teeth* —how dare you try to frame our experience as something so insignificant as a “noise complaint”.

Principal Weems: *speechless stare*

Enid: *scarlet face buried in her hands* Ohmygod Wends…

Yoko/Divina: *eavesdropping outside the office door and laughing hysterically*

Whos gonna write the fic of the three days Ringo lived in the woods with a family of tanuki?

Head canon that Ringo falls off a building during a battle in London (S2) and uses his stretched ball sack as a parachute the way Tanuki taught him.

The tanuki is a real japanese animal but its also a kind of yokai thats commonly described as having a giant ballsack. The popularizatuon of the giant sack has been traced back to the Edo period, which Blue Eye Samurai takes place in.

Old woodcuts show tanuki using their sacks as nets to trap birds and fish, as blankets, as parachutes when jumping from heights and to pummel enemies along with many other uses.

The tanuki Ringo lived with must have been the mythical tanuki and not the wild animal cause what kind of wild animal would let you sleep with them? And In what world wouldnt Ringo, as a seven year old boy not be facinated and try to replicate the ballsack antics of the tanuki while he lived with them.

Certainly he'll have retained these learned skills and while assisting Mizu in London perhaps employ them during a fall from heights. OR BETTER YET! Use his sack as a parachute to rescue Mizu from the top of a building. Once on the ground Mizu looks at Ringo, then at his stretched out ballsack and says "Useful" with wide eyes.

And so began the Rizu ship. Mingo?

(The last image is from the Studio Ghibli movie Pom Poko. I couldnt find the ballsack woodblock image again. Whatever. The parachute ballsack has long been popular in popular culutre.)
