Like sometimes I feel like I'm genuinely losing my mind about this.

In an entire patch about reincarnation. About the bonds you make in life following you through to the next. And somehow, despite Nikki and Bai getting to reunite, that's... doomed? Because Bai herself has no memory of her prior life? Even though it's clear she still has that draw to Nikki bc of the bonds they forged all that time ago??? Because of the theme of the patch, about the bonds you make in life following you through to the next????? That's 'doomed', is it?

Are we just saying words now and pretending they mean things?

Nikki/Bai is, quite frankly, a 'happy ending' type of romance, if you want to ship them.
