Concept: a movie theater that only shows Harry Potter films. The movies will be in 4D. The temperature will drop when dementors are present. Fans will blow on you during quidditch scenes. Enticing smells will be pumped in during feast scenes but don’t worry about feeling hungry because the theater will serve Bertie Botts, treacle tart, drumsticks, butterbeer, chocolate frogs and those tiny little pies that Mrs. Weasley makes. Instead of loyalty cups, you get discounts if you wear a Weasley sweater.

Can you believe Lily Evans turns 57 today??? I hope her grandkids wake her up with warm muffins and hot chocolate and I hope James gives her a good morning kiss and tells her she’s beautiful and she laughs and smiles at his wrinkles and I hope Harry twirls her round the kitchen whilst the radio plays tunes from the 70s and I hope Sirius and Remus come over for tea and joke about time flying and the grandkids surprise her with a gigantic cake and she slaps Sirius’ hand away when he tries to take the first slice and they both laugh and then the whole tables laughing and everyone’s happy and smiling as it should be

Things we actually know about Lily Evans

We know that:

She grew up in an industrial town in the English Midlands. (HBP)

She had dark red hair and green eyes (PS/OP)

As a child, she used accidental magic to jump from swings and open flowers (despite being told not to do so by her mother) (DH)

Prior to Hogwarts, she was rather close with her sister, and wanted Petunia to come to Hogwarts with her. (DH)

She purchased a wand that was nice for Charm work (PS)

She valued bravery enough to be placed in Gryffindor almost the moment the hat touched her head (DH)

She’s on speaking terms (or possibly friends with) someone called Mary McDonald (DH)

She was willing to defend Snape against James in her fifth year. (OP)

She gave James what amounted to a verbal smackdown in her fifth year. (OP)

By her fifth year, none of her friends can understand why she still talks to Snape given his Death Eater connections. (DH)

She had friends. She mentions them to Snape, and she was among a chattering group of fifth year girls after OWLs.

She was ‘popular’ with the boys.

She was set to be in her sister’s wedding, but got kicked out when her sister’s fiance found out she was a witch. 

She and James started dating in seventh year.

She absolutely, 100% did not hate James Potter.

She and her boyfriend went out to dinner with her sister and Vernon. Things did not go well, and the relationship disintegrated from there.

She was affectionate enough with James’s friends that she used their Marauder nicknames.

She and James fought for the Order full time and lived off his family’s gold.

She defied Voldemort three times.

She got pregnant when she was 19.

She gave up fighting and went into hiding shortly after becoming pregnant, all to protect a little dude she hadn’t yet met.

She was affectionate enough with someone called Marlene McKinnon that she cried all night upon hearing the news of her death.

She (at least in every instance that we saw) rarely spat out harsh words first, but she didn’t hesitate to retaliate. Scathingly.

She cried. A lot.

She wrote charming thank-you letters to her friends.

She literally sat on her butt while her husband chased around their baby as he zipped in and out of peril.

She also threw away the hideous vase that got broken rather then repair it, and then she told Sirius about it because she knew it would amuse him.

She wrote her Gs in the same way as her son.
