OH MY GOD

I just picked up on some major foreshadowing in Gilmore Girls.

S7: E5, Chris tells Lorelai about the letter Sherry sent him. And Lorelai is shocked and happy he didn’t hide it from her to find and get all insecure about.

This is MAJOR foreshadowing for her reference letter to Luke. 

Chris no longer loves Sherry, and he knows Lorelai believes this, so he doesn’t feel uncomfortable when sharing this with Lorelai. But Lor is still majorly in love with Luke, so with her reference letter, she hides it because she knows Chris won’t believe her when she says she isn’t :(

There are quite a lot of books on how to deal with the experience of being in a war. Those, as it turns out, are the least helpful. Nonetheless, Hermione will read most of them in the years to come, and diagnose everyone of her friend with at least one sign of mental disorder. She keeps a list of them in her agenda, and even after they no longer show on her radar, she watches for signs of a relapse. After all the books, she still feels wholly unprepared to deal with it. Mostly, she advises them to seek professional help, even if she never does it herself: it’s quite more complicated than that, isn’t it?
