Ayo~ I'm from Melbourne! Just thought I'd let you know that august is the last month of winter here, but also that Melbourne weather can often be a bit of a 'four seasons in one day' kinda thing. About travel, there's lots of public transport (I recommend the PTV app) which is pretty useful and accessible, you'd just need a myki card (like bus/train pass)

Hey ! Im from melbourne ^^ august is the end of winter and is usually fairly cold, although melbourne weather can vary greatly day to day. If youre in the city there are a lot of trains, trams and buses, but the further you go out from the city the less buses there are and the less frsquent they run, generally, so if you plan on that it might be a bit more difficult !

i just checked the weather forecast and it seems that there will be light rain in aug :( and yes i plan to just hang around the city, pretty sure that’s the safest for a girl going around alone
