seokjin’s mistreated so badly. i don’t know if it’s because bighit have literally brainwashed him to believe he doesn’t suit the ‘colour’ of the song or he’s being told to say that, but it fucking pisses me off. it’s not only the fact his distribution is poor, it’s beyond that. as a jin stan, i feel like it’s painfully obvious he’s unhappy with this, but has come to accept it? whether it be the tone of his voice, whatever. he doesn’t seem happy at all (i’ve stayed up nights thinking about this, which is a lot).

here’s what i personally think. not you, your friend. my personal opinion that you may or may not agree with.

1~

seokjin feels like he needs to owe the other members because he feels like he isn’t the best there. therefore, he allows this to happen which, although he particularly wants lines, he feels like that’s a way to repay them?

2~

i have a suspicion that he believes that the only reason he’s there is because of visuals, hence why the lack of lines takes place. but even then, he gets no screen time…

despite being the visual…

3~

people excuse it because he apparently gets screentime, as stated above. but, although of course i appreciate tae (he’s incredible in everything he does and really shines in talent etc- as of the rest of them) he gets an average amount of both screen time and lines. it seems unfair.

4~

it’s not only that, it’s the way bighit treat him- on top of this. it’s the minor details too. such as •bighit removing him as the cover photo for not today •not going to his graduation even though they let jk go •the way his care package arrived later than the other members. •the way in a photo book (i don’t remember which) they duplicated a photo of jungkook instead of putting jin in. •the ynwa photo book where they cropped out jin’s face. •when they asked about jungkook’s graduation until taehyung interrupted saying 'what’s about seokjin?’ as if his wasn’t important.

of course, we should all treat the members equally, but y'all need to realise there’s 7 members, not six. we don’t want seokjin- we NEED him.
