Sibling that shines in the sun vs sibling that hides in the shadows
Nothing will ever compare to this glorious scene
I will never forget this moment, the beautiful music that gave me chills, the raw emotion, jinxās scream as she shoots the gun, this is cinematic history, this scene will forever be my core memory of arcane, I canāt even describe how dear this scene is to my heart, absolutely beautiful
I am curious to know what some peopleās unpopular opinion or hot takes about Arcane are, feel free to share any and all opinions/hot takes!
Iāll start, not sure if this is even an unpopular opinion or a hot take but I genuinely believe Jinx hate is forced, maybe itās because Iām biased and sheās my favorite character but Iāve never understood jinx hate
You can say anything you want about Silco but you canāt say that he didnāt love his daughter
He was always gentle with her, even in moments where heās frustrated or sheās angry with him
He never once hurt her
(He always grabbed her hand gently)
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Even when jinx was using the syringe to hurt Silco over and over again he remained calm and didnāt lash out at her, he let her get her anger out and instead used his words to calm her down
(I could not find a gif of this scene anywhere!)
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
He was genuinely worried about her
There is genuine fear on his face thinking he lost his daughter
And the sheer panic on his face when he barges into singes lab as he holds his injured daughter, he was so scared he had lost her
Then the moment he heard jinx begin to panic he places a kiss on her forehead to let her know he is there
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Silco would set the world ablaze for jinx
The anger on his face knowing someone was hurting his daughter just shows all he would do for her, when he notices the names Vi was yelling at jinx were hurting her he fought with everything in his power to free himself enough form the ropes that bound him to stop Vi, he shows no mercy to those who threaten his daughter
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Silco loved Jinx more then anything, though Silco wouldāve done anything to get what he wanted from top side he never wouldāve given them his daughter
And even when top side was willing to give silco what he wanted in exchange for jinx he would rather abandon everything he worked for and stay in the under city then hand his daughter over to them
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
And even when it was his own daughter who ended him, he didnāt even blame her instead he let her know exactly what he thought of her
He held no ill will towards her, showed no anger, he simply looked at her with all the love in the world and told her she was perfect š
No matter what anyone says Silco was a good dad, though he might not have been a good person he loved Jinx and wouldāve done anything for her
Women in Arcane>>>>>>
They are all so gorgeous š
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY FAVORITE GIRL! šš
When you ask someone which arcane character they hate and they say one of them:
Honest reaction:
I love how unhinged Jinx is
Iāve always thought that Vi and Jinx reminded me of Celestia and Luna
They looked like them as little ones
Powder turning into jinx and jinx fully accepting who she is/Luna turning into nightmare moon and accepting who she is
The fight scenes!
Both Celestia and Vi mourning the loss of their sisters
Okay this is my personal hot take opinion, but this specific bridge scene never sat right with me
Let me explain, first off this is the second time Vi and Jinx have reunited, and what frustrates me the most about it is I feel Vi put Caitlynās safety above trying to get her sister back, her sister who she hasnāt seen in 7 years!
Now I understand Caitlyn was hurt and couldnāt walk but at the end of the day it was only a leg injury nothing too severe
But! I can defiantly understand Vi wanting to help her, especially since Jinx shot at the both of them I get Vi wanting to get Caitlyn to safety, but what Iāve always thought was why didnāt Vi just have Ekko take Caitlyn somewhere safe and stay to ādealā with jinx??
Then again Ekko and Jinxās fight scene was very important to the plot which I get
But I canāt help but feel a bit frustrated with Vi in this scene, she hasnāt seen her sister in 7 years and sheās finally face to face with her but she chooses Caitlyn! And I feel like unfortunately thatās a pattern Vi constantly repeats (no hate on CaitVi btw!)
And once she gets Caitlyn to safety she watches as Silco takes her sister away! I know there were tons of enforcers and Vi wouldnāt have stood a chance against all of them, I just feel she didnāt show any signs of distress watching her sister be taken away by the man Vi hates most
Iām not trying to hate on Vi at all I think Vi is a great character, beautifully written, I just feel like she didnāt even make an effort to try and get her sister back
And even after she gets Caitlyn to safety I feel like she isnāt concerned at all about jinx, she does share her guilt for leaving powder all those years ago, but she didnāt show any worry for her sister in the moment, unfortunately Vi cares more about powder then Jinx and thatās something else that makes me so sad.
I just wanted to share my onion on this bridge scene especially since I just recently rewatched season 1 of arcane, this is not meant to hate on Vi or Caitlyn itās just my opinion! If anyone agrees or has more to say on this topic, feel free to speak your mind!
Anyone else just really relate to jinx?
