I attempted some 1 bit pixel art, it was fun. I started by drawing the robots face, as I drew it, more inspiration came to me, and slowly, the robot took shape, since the very start I have decide to make some sort of horizontal imbalance, so after the robot is done, I added the bird, it was gonna be a human, but I find it pretty difficult to draw a human at that size.

I imagine the robot fought it's own troop after learning about life from a bird and betraying its mission of war, as it approaches its last moment, it tells its teacher something from its heart.

猙 Zheng, a mythical beast in Shanhaijing, it's a leopard with red fur and black spots, it has a horn, and 5 tails, and its cry sounds like hitting a rock. It lives in a mountain with no plants but gemstone and jade.

Seriously tho, I challenged myself to draw something in a limited palette, and there were no skin-ish tones, I'm quite proud of how it turned out, I thought I would use a warmer color(at least warmer than blue) for skin, and what do you know, it worked! I also tried some of that anticipation-smear-pause technique to make the hammer hit harder.
