it won’t be dangerous if we’d be careful. ( ` sticks tongue out playfully ) —  ( ` a victorious grin tugging across his lips as he dragged her with him ) i know. ( ` nodding as he went to the rental of the jetski, giving the guy a few of his coins as he went to ride one of the jetski’s on the side, hopping into it and motioning to other to hop in as well ) finally.. ( ` a satisfied smile tugging across his lips as he started the engine, slightly nervous upon navigating the said vehicle ) well then. ( ` finally drifting off the coast furthermore to the water ) woooooooooooooooo!! ( ` yells out of excitement )

(' sighs in defeat as she is dragged, warily watching the vehicle and not paying too much attention to the boy ) i really hope you know how to drive this... (' mumbles, hopping behind him on the jet ski and wrapping her arms around his upper body ) what are you-- aaaaaaaaah!! (' closes her eyes as she lets out a high pitched yell, burying her head in the back of his neck, trying to avoid looking at the water and tigheting her grip around his waist at all costs )

ahhh really? ( ` his cheeks blushing ) yeah! have you rode one before? ( ` glances upon the other curiously ) nope! it’s not.. unless you don’t know how to swim? you do know how to swim right? ( ` furrows a brow at her ) no! you’ll ride it with meeeeeee! ( ` stubbornly exclaims as he grabbed her hand ) let’s go! let’s go! ( ` his tone obviously enthusiastic about it ) please, let’s just ride it together. i don’t want to ride it alone. just for the sake of experience? don’t you want to experience it though? it would be fun! just for today. ( ` frowns ) pretty please? ( ` tugging her hand softly )

(' frowns, deciding that at the very moment she didn't like muggle inventions) but, himchan-- (' immediately shuts up once she hears the whining. ugh. why did she had to be such a sucker for cuteness? she sighs and listens to his rant about it, tightening the grip on his hands, almost if already regretting what she was about to say) okay. (' nods slowly, biting her lower lip) but if something happens i won't even say "i told you" because i totally did!

(— checks the watch on his wrist as if he hadn’t noticed the time, wondering how in the world he could get out of this, maybe if he pretended to not having noticed it was so late) I seriously thought it was like 11 or something. (— replies sheepishly, trying his hardest to keep up his facade of innocence, because he knew he definitely broke at least 2 rules, not to mention curfew // frowns, sighing) Actually? Couldn’t you just let me off with a warning maybe? (— blinks at the sudden question, racking his brain to try to remember but he honestly doesn’t remember what he had done there, only remembering that he had come to see Hyunsik specifically but for some reason he couldn’t recall anything that he might’ve done, besides the fact that he had woken up without a shirt on and with his pants undone so he could only assume but he didn’t want to think of what he might’ve done whilst drunk so he just kept his mouth shut) I fell asleep, maybe like a couple hours ago, I think? Or I would’ve been back before curfew.

(' looks at the boy in extreme disbelief, unconsciously tapping her foot on the floor this time, a very atypical -- though very light -- scoff scaping her lips upon hearing his excuses. she thinks that it was less of an aggravating fact that he had the decency of showing he was a bit concerned after she had not believed him) I can't. (' shakes her head, a serious expression set on her face) You're coming out of another house's common room at the most ungodly hour, so I will not give you only a warning. (' huffs in slight annoyance, maybe being waken at this time made her more snappy than ever, which is so unlike her, and just the mere memory of this fact bothered her even more. he wouldn't get to win her over with cuteness, at least) We'll have to set it for later though. Be ready because I probably won't be the one applying the detention, Joonmyun-ssi is kind of too busy nowadays too, but we'll find someone.

(— sneaks out of the Hufflepuff dorm when he woke up, he feels a bit tipsy still, not yet hungover since he was sure he fell asleep only moments ago but Hyunsik was nowhere to be found in his bed until he walked down to the common room to see the said Hufflepuff asleep on the couch and he had taken a moment to go back and grab the blanket to throw over the other before heading back to Slytherin’s dormitory, but he was definitely not in the right mind to Apparate and he was in no mood to be Splinched so he knew he had to walk // was closing the door behind him and just making his way out into the hallway, his hands shoved into his pockets when he heard his name and he turns his head casually towards the source of the sound) Yes? (— turns and squints in her general direction, the brightness of the torches lighting the hallway were a bright contrast to how dark it was in the dorm and his eyes weren’t used to the light yet) I was visiting someone and since they fell asleep, I didn’t want to stay and intrude. (— says casually, completely innocent as it was the truth)

(' unconsciously narrows her eyes at the slytherin, but still wonders why he still looked so composed and calm when he was clearly caught doing something wrong ) look, i'm usually okay with people from different houses visiting each other, but i do have acknowledge the fact that it's quite late right now. (' places her hands in her hips in a motherly manner that was usual to her; she almost felt like tapping one foot on the floor as well ) i'm afraid i'll have to punish you somehow. (' sighs, almost inaudibly as she shakes her head, slowly eyeing him up and down and analyzing his messy appearance; he didn't seem so bad as jieun stepped closer to him, but he could have been better, so she decided to ask anyway; since she was already at it, why not keep going? ) what were you even doing here so late at night? (' raises both of her brows as she asked, because lifting only one was not one of her skills, but she surely would if she could )

(' almost trips on her own feet as she feels the sleep tugging at the corners of her mind, huffinf slightly once she hears the portraits laughing at her; she knew she probably wasn't the best option for head girl, but sometimes it felt too overwhelming ) i'm gonna make them put you near the boys bathrooms... (' mumbles to herself, gladly sighing at the fact that she was açready near the hufflepuffs dorm, which meant she would have to go upstairs and to her own bed soon; jieun gets fully awake when she hears the commom room's door opening though, no one should be out at such time, not even prefects; with careful steps, she gets closer, spying through a corner and narrowing her eyes ) jung ilhoon? (' knits her eyebrows together, straightening her back and walking towards him ) what are you doing here? (' suspiciously eyes him; if she knew the slytherin, she was sure he was up to no good )

(' lets out a sigh as she walks through the corridors, no specific destination in mind as she's just patroling; it was one of those days where you could feel it was about to rain, yet the warmth crawled your skin to remind you that it still wasn't pouring ) i hate this kind of weather. (' sighs once again, bringing a hand to her hair in an attempt to make it look less wild. once she turned a random corner, she spots someone on the window, which she thought it was okay, until she realized the person was not only propped against the window, but also sleeping ) w-what? (' frowns after getting no immediate response, maybe the other girl was sick )

so i’m a part of this summer special of yours afterall. ( ` sticks tongue out, smiling playfully ) i’m glad. ( ` eyes smiles as well ) — ( ` blinks, realizing he was indeed talking a lot, pursing his lips together ) i uhm.. s-sorry.. i—i’m not really uhm.. i don’t talk a lot at often times. i don’t know what’s gotten into me.. ( ` sheepishly smiles, biting his bottom lip embarrassingly before watching the other now being the loud one, finding it very adorable ) — ( ` eyes widened, beaming at the sudden sight of a jet ski around the waters ) ah! i didn’t know there’s a jet-ski around the area! let’s ride one, pleaseee. pretty please. ( ` pouts pleadingly at the other as he glanced at her, wiggling his brows playfully, grinning widely after ) i haven’t ride one before.. i—i want to try. ( ` pouts )

(' glances over at it, slightly concerned about how it seems to be so loud and fast) it isn't dangerous, right? i have never done it either... (' bites her lower lip, glancing at the vehicle again, visibly gulping at the sight, but when she looks back, she can't help a nod, not being able to resist his hopeful expression) o-okay... but i guess i'll just watch you if that's fine with you. His eyes remained fixed on hers, biting back a chuckle as he watched her cough. “Not a fan of smoking, huh?” He couldn’t help but muse. Neukmin allowed her to compose herself, keeping his gaze on her at all times, his eyes occasionally drifting. When she’d finished he smiled innocent, as if the cause for her distress wasn’t down to him at all. 

"Oh, you did?" Neukmin grinned, moving closer. He tried to catch a whiff of her scent but the cigarette fumes were too overpowering. The only thing he was able to catch was the uncertainty in her tone and posture. It was clear her words were not suggestive, but as always he decided to take his chances. "Him?” Neukmin chuckled. “Ah, you don’t mean my rat of a cousin by any chance?” He hummed, running his tongue across his lips. “That depends dear, whats in it for me?” He asked, this time exhaling the smoke away from her before he took another drag. At that moment detention had no appeal to him.

She simply shook her head at his words, warily eyeing the cigarette in his hands. "Not really." Then it hit her that she shouldn't be just talking about it like acquaitances, but rather doing her job. "Also, it is not allowed for students to smoke inside Hogwarts' grounds." She pointed out, knowing full well she could give him one more detention for doing that,but opting for a warning first.

Jieun was surprised, though glad to know a bit of information. They considered themselves cousins then? It could maybe explain a thing or two for the little knowledge she had. "Yeah, I mean Sungmin." She cleared her throat, trying to get rid of any doubt and be more confident around him. She could only think acting like a prey would not help matters, specially when he had this predator aura on him that made her take a step back. "Just the usual, you know, maybe some doing kind of physical task without magic. I'm pretty sure you've already been sent there. Or at least, they've tried to do it." She explained, watching as this time the smoke didn't reach her face.

Neukmin glanced up at the sound of the girls voice. Popping the cigarette into his mouth, a smirk tugged at the corner of his cruel lips as he snatched the paper from her. “Did I?” The question was rhetorical. He raised an eyebrow, ripping it in half before her eyes and threw it over his shoulder. “I don’t see anything. Do you?” He feigned with a low chuckle, blowing the smoke from his lungs into her face. The smoke in his usual signature party trick; the shape of a wolf. It’s teeth clenched upon impact and the smoke quickly parted. 

"So, I’m assuming there is a reason you followed me out here?" Neukmin asked, his expression smug yet incredibly relaxed at the same time. Something about smoking made him more of a dick than usualーAnd he was usually a dick to begin with. His eyes shamelessly traced her figure, giving it a short nod of approval. Perhaps he hadn’t had her before. Maybe I haven’t had her before, I’m sure I’d remember a body like that. He licked his lips before taking another smoke, allowing it to blissfully fill his lungs. He wasn’t angry that she’d followed him, on the contrary he was rather glad that he now had a new toy to play with.

She watched, frozen in her spot as the male simply ripped the paper in front of her, the senses only coming back to her when a wolf made of smoke stared at her, making her jump in surprise. The smoke soon filled her lungs and she couldn't help but cough hard into her fist. Cigarettes and such had never failed to make her feel sick, and that moment would not be an exception. Only after having recovered from the small cough fit, Jieun started paying more attention to her surroundings.

If there was one thing about him that made her uncomfortable, was the way his eyes looked at her. She felt ogled and extremely vulnerable under his watch. "Yes, I actually wanted to ask you something" Her voice was filled with uncertainty, and she hoped he could not hear it, or see they way she fumbled with her fingers. "I know you're not... him, but can you behave a little better?" She tried being nice, showing a nervous smile and taking a quick glance at the ripped paper behind him. "And show up to detention maybe?"

well.. uhm.. i.. ( ` scratches his head nervously ) who wouldn’t like watermelons though.. right? ( ` bites hit bottom lip while he was dragging the other ) ah… it truly reminds me of summer… i haven’t eaten one in like forever. ( ` takes another lick, a satisfying smile playing across his lips ) so tell me, how was your summer like? do you go to beaches often during summer when you were a kid? ( ` blinks at the other ) during summers, i visit my grandparents and they actually run a beach shack around, i used to sell watermelon popsicles and sometimes i secretly take some for myself. ( ` laughs at the thought of it )  and i haven’t visited them in like forever, so this watermelon popsicles reminds me of them.. ( ` frowns ) maybe i should take you there in the next summer or so- ( ` nods ) i can give you a whole box of watermelon popsicles if you insist. ( ` sticks his tongue out playfully, laughing afterwards )

you're right, everybody has to love it. (' chuckles and nods to him, enjoying her own popsicle) my parents always try to go to the beach. we usually rent a small house in a hidden place, but this year we could do it. so i'm glad we had this trip... it made this summer special. (' looks up at him, smiling as she runs her hand through her hair, messy because of the wind; settles for just eating her treat and listening to him talking about his past summers too, laughing along at some points) you talk a lot. (' covers her mouth as she laughs) i didn't know you had it in you. i thought you were more the quiet type. (' shakes her head, beaming at the new discovery about him) but yeah, i wouldn't mind a box or two of watermelon popsicles... or maybe more! (' teases him back. loudly giggling with him, but soon she cover her mouth again when she realizes she was maybe being too loud)

"I said, put your feet down!” The Professor stressed quickly loosing his temper. Neukmin crossed his arms over his chest, smirking at the girl across from him who played with her hair. She looked familiar and given by the way she looked at him he could only assume they’d met before. Whoever she was though, she hadn’t left a lasting impression on him. “Right. That’s it.” The Professor scribbled on a piece of paper before approaching Neukmin’s desk. “Detention after school!” The Professor hid a grin, thinking he’d out smarted the boy, but Neukmin’s feet remained where they were. He glanced at the paper, offering him another shrug. Silence fell.

"Out! Get out of my classroom!" Neukmin bit back a grin, removing his feet from the desk and grabbed his coat. "Finally." He sighed with relief, adjusting his jacket. He took a step closer to the Professor, knowing it wasn’t in their conduct to physically harm a student. Especially one so timid. "I was starting to think you’d never grow a pair." He chuckled, ignoring the pink slip on his desk completely as he made his way to the door. "How dare you! I’ll be having a stern word with the Headmaster about you, boy! Don’t think you can get away with your behavioー" Neukmin slammed the door shut as he left. Ten minutes, that’s a new record. He mused to himself as he lit a well earned cigarette.

When Jieun woke up that morning, she would never imagine such situation to happen right in first class. She guessed it was because Head Girl's responsabilities finally caught up with her, but she also wouldn't think she'd be feeling the amount of stress the Professor was feeling. It was something new she couldn't explain, like an overwhelming weight pressing down on her chest. It made her nervous as she darted from the oldest in the room to the young rebel. Should I do something? She thought to herself, biting down on her lip, teeth sinking on sensitive skin as she played with a strand of hair -- a habit she acquired over time, having learned it from some girl in detention who wouldn't stop doing it until the clock finally freed her. The Ravenclaw stopped though, as she felt a piercing gaze and a smirk being directed to her.

She wondered how could a person change so much.

It left her flabbergasted when the boy simply taked back to the Professor like he was one of them, like they were in a fight in the middle of lunchtime. When he left, it was like the whole class let out a breath they probably didn't even realize they were holding, the Professor heaving a sigh at the unfinished sentence and the now loud class. "Stop gossiping, you can do that later. for now let's focus in class." She wasn't completely sure of how things happened, but soon she was standing up and gathering her things as well as his pink paper, walking up to him and quietly asking permission to leave. "I wanna talk to him." Jieun had fimly said, even as he assured her it wasn't her responsibility. He only let her out for two reasons: he didn't need another scene in class and he was sure she would still get high grades even if she skipped a whole month.

Politely bowing to the Professor, she took hurried steps out of the class, avoiding any eye contact, she could explain things later to whomever it might concern. Before she could even think about where to start looking for the boy, an unpleasant smell reached her as she walked around, and soon, she was face to face with him. "You forgot this." She carefully said, holding the detention notice between them, her nose crinkling because of the smoke.

but? ( ` blinks ) ahhhh, watermelon! i’ve seen it earlier as well at the shack! what are we waiting for then? ( ` feeling very excited upon hearing watermelon because he really like them that much ) let’s go! ( ` grabs a hold of her hand as he was the one now to drag the other, running towards the shack, linking his fingers into hers tightly, slightly struggling upon the force of the water hitting against his body ) two watermelon popsicles please! ( ` exclaims as he soon got to the said shack, slightly panting, a soft smile playing across his lips ) - ( ` biting on his bottom lip as soon as he got the popsicles, handing one of them to Jieun ) i didn’t know you love watermelons that much as well. ( ` smiles at the other as he started to lick his own popsicle )

really? (' she feels relieved upon hearing his words and her eyes lit up, already excited about trying this popsicle flavour) let's go! (' copies him, chuckling at being the one dragged this time around and trying to catch up, but it seemed like she oculd not be fast enough, specially when they were running on the water) i didn't know... you liked it that... that much. (' speaks in small puffs of air from the small marathon effort, laughing and smiling at him as she listened to him ordering their 'food') thank you. (' takes her popsicle from his hand, soon giving it a bite, but frowning when she remembered how cold it was) ouch-- uh, yeah, i like it... it's probably my favorite summer fruit since it reminds me of when i was a kid. (' nods)

That was when she felt it.

The feeling of something low being swooped over her. It didn’t take long before she figured out it was the familiar incantation. With that spell, her presence was most definitely uncovered by now. That person- must either by an extremely smart student, or a professor. Chances were, if it were a professor, that person would have conjured something more impressive and would not hesitate to keep his/her presence unknown. However, the stranger in the library with her seemed to be sneaking around too, which led Jinah to conclude that it must be a fellow student.

Shaking her head, she turned her attention back to the books before she stopped short at one. This one. The Slytherin pulled it out hastily, flipping through the pages in triumph. Now that she had the book safely in her possession, all she had to do was to get out without facing a confrontation.

Jieun knew she had to be fast or else the other person would go too far for her to catch up and eventually be able to give him (or her) a good detention. Therefore, she hurried her steps towards the shelves she saw the outline of another body, keeping herself close to the exit at the same time, just in case the other was already done with whatever they were here for in the first place.

Just for the slightest moment, she felt something behind her back, and it made the Ravenclaw stop in her track, turning around and contouring the shelf with faster steps. She was determined to find the rule breaker now that she knew they were realy close -- she could even hear footsteps near her if she paid enough attenion to the sounds around her. When she realized she wasn't the only one already near the decorated door, she widened her eyes and felt herself running, feet sliding to block the only way out.

With ragged breath and hand wielding the wand forward, Jieun almost smiled, knowing she got there first.
