Iām taking an art history class over the summer for an early college thing and we talked about Romanticism today. I had to fight the urge to talk about Reese Kelly scarlet hollow and how he practices Romanticism similar to Goya.

Romanticism is very based around emotion and intuition, in contrast to the neoclassical art that was common in the napoleonic times. I think that makes sense for his character, his art is how he expresses his emotions, thus his art resembles the artistic movement that was focused on that.
