It killed me not performing, but after just doing shows down in South America I knew I needed the vocal rest before my tour starts Monday. I've got a European tour, Australian tour, a bunch of festivals, and the North American tour the rest of the year so I have to get the rest in when I can.

Don't worry man, I would have kicked your ass regardless, so it doesn't matter what your skills are. After a few rounds with me I'll have you be a Mario Kart expert. Who would your go to character be though? Maybe I should have had a sign that said 'why did you invite my girlfriend to our date.' I would have loved to have seen Selena's face. Okay, if you come hang out in Brazil for our tour, I'll come hang out with you in September. That sounds like a win-win situation and a fair deal. Oh please, you don't need the help at all, you're Shawn Mendes. Just that alone is enough to sell out shows. But, of course I'll be there, I would miss it for anything.

Selena and Joe were back in New York after their weekend away in LA, and while it was much needed, she was glad to be back to work. A lot of their alone time was spent in silence, and whenever they weren't together he was either rehearsing with his brothers or hanging out with them. Selena on the other hand she hung out with friends new and old, and it sure was nice. One person Joe wasn't aware of that she hung out with though was Jesse and the female didn't exactly know how to tell him. The singer knew about her past with the male actor, and she some dislike to it but really didn't share much aside from that. The brunette knew that she had to tell him before he found out in some other way, and possibly got mad about it.

After a long day on set, she finally found herself in the building where their apartment was at, greeting the doorman she gave him a bright smile. A smile that quickly faded from her features as she entered the elevator. Rising up to their floor, she quickly existed and walked over to their apartment; unlocking their door, she greeted by their fur child. Kneeling down, she allowed him to greet her with all the dog kisses while giving him the pets he eagerly awaited. "Hi babyyyy, where's dad?" She questioned as brown hues scanned their living room and dinning area. No sight of the male singer; " Come on, Chila. Lets go find him." Rising up, she set her purse and keys on entry table. "Joe?" She called out for him. @jjcns

While Selena was filming in New York, the couple had set up home temporarily on the East coast. The singer had quickly become accustomed to living in a New York apartment, despite the accommodation was very different to their LA home. But, then again, Joe didn't care where in the world they were, as long as he had Selena and his kids then the male was at home. The only thing missing was his two oldest daughters, who ever since moved to the UK, Joe didn't get to see as often. He was still getting used to having them so far away, thankful to have both Selena and Joaquin as a distraction.

With Joaquin finally settled in his crib, Joe quietly backed out of the room, closing the door almost all the way, making sure to leave it open an inch or two. Suddenly hearing Selena's voice from the living area, Joe rushed down the hall, an index finger to his lips to indicate for her to be quiet. "He's just gone down, if he hears your voice then he's going to be wide awake." Joe was usually the busier one, meaning their baby had become more accustomed to Selena being home than himself. "How was work?" He questioned with a kiss to her lips, "have you eaten? We can order in." While Joe hadn't eaten since lunch, he was okay with waiting a little long if Selena wasn't hungry. Walking towards the coffee table, Joe picked up the baby monitor, turning on the small device so they were able to keep an eye on their baby.

I don't know, maybe you could have gotten a better offer, although I can't imagine there's anyone better to drink beer with than me. All we need now is to add Mario Kart to this combo and it's the ultimate night in. How is your racing skills? A few days away from the baby and real life responsibilities was nice, and even if she missed Joaquin, she saw this as the perfect opportunity to hopefully mends things with Joe. With the boys being up next on the stage rather soon, the actress spent a lot of her time that day backstage with them and occasionally slipping away to take a few breathers. During one of those moments of slipping away, she was checking up on her texts and calls. Most texts only being exchanges between her mom and sister; the pair had taken it upon themselves to watch the little one but would give her updates when she asked for them. Glancing up she saw the male walking over to her, slipping her phone in her back jean pocket, she gave him a smile. "Please, no one wants to hear me. They're all here to listen to you and the rest of the amazing line up. Besides it's nice being on the opposite side of this thing for once."

Joe let out a scoff at Selena's words. His hands rested on her thighs as he stood close in front of her. "I knew you had your delusional moments, but you're really going for gold with this one. Who wouldn't want to see you perform? You know I always did find that thing you do with the mic kinda hot." Joe's words came with a smirk as he moved forward, planting a soft but loving kiss to her lips. "Have you spoken to your mom today?" The male questioned with a raised eyebrow. The couple were lucky when it came to the brunette's mom. She was always more than happy to watch Joaquin, whenever they needed her to. Joe was convinced that Selena's younger sister played a part in it. Gracie had become smitten with her nephew very quickly, almost to the point that she was at their house multiple times a week. Not like Joe minded, from the moment they moved into their house, he said it was Gracie's home as well. "How's little man doing?"

Gosh, I can only imagine how it feels knowing that they're your siblings. You all are so talented and just some of the sweetest guys I know really. Hahaha no, that isn't true. There just so happened to be a resurgence of our music and moments on tiktok and twitter.

It definitely has it's ups and downs when you're working with siblings, but I would change it for the world. I'm just glad that we're at a place in our lives now where we can happily do our own thing while still being in the band and no one gets pissed about it. Come on Lauren, you've just broke millions of hearts with that statement, that wasn't the answer I was looking for. Would you do a reunion?
