Creating Urban Fantasy: Faunri

The second race in my urban fantasy punk design are the Faunri. In the past, these horned being travel in tribes. They were fierce hunters that used their speed and group tactics to take down large foes. In the present, many Faunri take jobs as myst divers and bounty hunters. However, you can find them in many occupations especially in diverse countries.

Working on some new tattoo designs for myself. They're interpretations of tarot cards and my own self journey.

Baldur's Gate 3 is almost here, so I needed to come up with a character to play with. But after a friend group agreed to play together now I need two characters.

Gregor the Blackblade came first. His whole thing is that he grew up on the streets and used his quick talking to get himself out of sticky situations. Eventually he lands a job as a performance fighter where he actually learns how to use a sword and make a living. He'll be for the group playthrough

Second is Mathias, aka Matty. He is actually a character that I've already made but in his original form. This Matty is an archfey warlock whose job is to smuggle magical artifacts for his parton. In the future after people were hurt by one of the artifacts he sold, he turn against his parton. As punishment he's stripped of magic, turned into a satyr, and abandoned in the Faywilds. There he becomes a rogue in search of a way to get his magic back. The whole thing is a bit much for BG3 but I think it makes a good prequel.

This is so cute, but it took me TWO DAYS to do. How do people not go insane animating?

I just realized I never posted my monster designs for my game here. These are just a few that are pretty much done minus a few tweaks here and there. While the game is inspired by Pokemon, I took design elements from other monster catching games especially Dragon Quest Monster (Dragon Warrior Monsters for those of us who are ancient). Let me know if any design stands out to you!

More Redesigns! It's interesting to see how I've improved over the past couple of years. Most of the old designs were like from 2018/2019. Now I just have to animate them which is the hard part :p

Working on redesigning some of my monster designs

I took a long weekend for Labor Day and I've decided that I'm gonna turn that into a personal game jam. I want to recreate a game from my childhood that never got rereleased/remade.

To be more specific it was the wii ware game crystal chronicles: my life as a darklord. I'm sure nobody remembers it but I loved playing it as a kid. It was just a simple tower defense game set in the final fantasy universe where you play as the bad guys! It's really tongue and cheek and not that serious. But it is simple enough where I think I could make it in a weekend.
