I just watched the documentary and there is so much more about the troop that isn’t in this photoset—not only does the troop have a culture of little aggression and greater cooperation, but any incoming jerk baboons learned within a few months that their shitty behaviour was in no way acceptable, that the troop only rewarded sociability, and they changed accordingly.

Washed Up, Artist Alejandro Duran  Turns Ocean Trash Into Site-Specific Installations

Washed Up, is an ongoing site-specific installation project by artist Alejandro Duran, made of found plastic debris and trash from locations around the world. Alejandro Duran said: “Over the course of this project, I have identified plastic waste from fifty nations on six continents that have washed ashore along the coast of Sian Ka’an. I have used this international debris to create color-based, site-specific sculptures. Conflating the hand of man and nature, at times.
