Hampton Penthouse is a minimal penthouse located in London, England, designed by We Are Huntly. The combination of white, gray and black tones along with bronze details and bleached wood creates a perfect example of cozy, modern interior design. The penthouse was influenced by natural light and bay views. Bold stone, gold metal details, and dark stained timber bring to life a sophisticated interior. The stone goes well with the wood, which is combined together to create a cozy environment that perfectly suits the bathroom space. Soft pink carpet in the living room becomes a statement of the interior project, which gives some extra detail and creates a balance between the monochromatic and colorful tones.

New Kyoto Town House 2 is a minimal town house located in Kyoto, Japan, designed by Alphaville. The current wooden house system based on bearing wall calculation hardly fits in with the ‘eel’s bed’ or the elongated housing lots typical of Kyoto, an old capital of Japan. While the width of lots has been compartmentalized to provide minimal daylight, ventilation, and access over a long period of time, the only option today of opening up the frontage is either using a steel structure or a specialized wooden frame structure.

House in Saitama is a black-exterior minimalist home located in Saitama, Japan, designed by KASA ARCHITECTS. The home is characterized by a sloping roof and galvanized metal panels for the exterior facade. Narrow slit windows provide natural light without exposing too much of the residents’ privacy. Custom-built cabinetry maximizes the interior space while creating additional storage.
