Ok! so this is one of those things that I’ve always been fixated on with her. I know she’s technically canonically officially labeled with black hair, but with so many different interpretations of her, I can’t help but want to know what everyone really thinks! Personally, I prefer her with black hair, but let me know!

OKAY im actually on time for once, i know i still need to do something for united but thats none of my concern right now..so heres some highlights from Uncanny X-Men (2024) #31!

SPOILERS AHEAD!

the reveal of a new weapon x program was crazy, for a moment there i thought we wouldnt see much more of graymalkin or its procedures but then we get hit with this! i really wonder whats going to happen to the other graymalkin faculty, now that Ezra is “working” with Monet. will they continue working on their anti-mutant agenda? now that the warden is out of the picture, who will take her place? im so excited for this, but for most of this book, we spend time on the alien arc!

EVERYONE IS SO CUTE TOGETHER!! jitter and calico are so adorable and hotoru being so shy yet trying his hardest makes my heart genuinely melt. Seeing calico not mind that Jitter can’t do much without her powers just shows how much she actually cares about sofia. my heart dude i cant 🤧🤧

this took me by surprise. i really wonder if this was the actual end of the vig or not. i feel like comic book magic will bring him back again, but it really shocked me.

These two are comic relief, i swear. their dry humor is so funny sometimes, i have a feeling that they’ll eventually get along. i laughed at when wolv called the alien an ugly klingon, like of course he knows old references like that.

besides sofica, i really love how protective kurt is of mackenzie, and i love how she isnt totally reliant on him and insists on standing up and helping when she can. it takes guts to be with an x-man, and i love how they genuinely work with each other.

i like how sometimes jubilee just explodes stuff without fireworks, like hell yeah go use that big ass gun and absolutely eviscerate everything, u go girl 🥹

ahem. ok. sorry. i just really like whenever she does the little heart thing. anyway. to wrap the book up, the twist that the aliens were actually exterminators? i really wasnt expecting that. i thought it was just a typical “oooo we are going to kill you oooo” thing. im fully invested in this alien thing now and with the brood? im seated.

side note, ..why did calico give jitter that collectible? did gambit not hand her a robot in the last issue? i thought the whole store scene happened because of this… but ok

i swear guys, they released this issue especially for me. ive been lacking that sweet sweet sofica for a little while and here i am blessed with dare i say one of their defining books. theres so much of them to unpack, im still processing it… AND YES I KNOW I SHOULDVE POSTED THIS YESTERDAY but im busy and i might get a j*b… scary stuff.. BUT LETS GET INTO THIS!

i…dont know what to say. this might be the highlight of my week.. my month…, screw it, my entire life… this is the climax.. it can only get worse from here.. oh my god.. im tearing up… theyre my everything, genuinely.. theyre so damn adorable together i feel like i need to study shakespeare to come up with the words i want to say about them. im so not normal about them at all.. also is this technically the only other time weve seen them dress formally other than last years hellfire? theyre so pretty!! and sofias little smirk warms my heart so much 🥺 im so glad theyre still together happily ever after because the last issue’s ending genuinely scared me..

alrighty, wiping the tears from my eyes, that wraps it up!! i know i didnt touch much on the whole alien invasion thing, but that whole arc still kinda confuses me.. i dont really understand why we’re introducing aliens to the mix, but hopefully next issue will flesh it out a bit more. glad to see gaunt get humbled by monet, and heres to another great arc!!
