I wonder if the more Rocky got to know Grace the longer his name in Eridian became. Like at first “Grace” in Eridian was just a single flat sound, but that was given to him when they first met, so their bond hadn’t been fully formed yet. Now that Grace lives on Erid with Rocky, I imagine “Grace” would have a longer, more thought out name after all they’ve been through.

Inmate X is free now and has ordered the Trustees to kill Monet, while over in Haven House, the X-Men are still in a heated conflict with the original New Mutants! “Get unbusy” and when the new mutants all jumped Jubilee made me giggle i cant even lie 💔

Jitter wakes up safe!! While I am obviously very happy that she’s fine, i’m a little bummed that there wasnt more to her epileptic episode, because now it feels like it just came out of the blue with no meaning to the story?? Like don’t get me wrong its new info to the character that theyll probably use again eventually but it felt useless to introduce it here, but maybe thats just me

Quicksilver is here!! We saw him teased in the last book as a poster on the wall, but I didn’t expect him to actually show up! Oh I love his suit so much, the colors are so clean and the way Luciano Vecchio draws his face is so good… I can glaze Luciano all day, genuinely

Banshee and Rogue come to the aid of Monet and Quicksilver to stop the mind-controlled mutants!!

The Outliers are back safely!! Also, slight drama between Jitter and Calico? maybe this is why they introduced the epilepsy, to start heat between them?? I swear Gail better not break them up, they are my driving force… Also, Mutina kept the AI soulsword so who knows what she’s planning with that 😭💔

Lastly, oohhh im so scared… im so used to the dynamic with Rogue and Gambit as the head of the family, but im so open to seeing Monet and Quicksilver run things for a while… Especially since the next arc will be aliens?? I feel like these x-men never catch a break lmao.. I just hope the outliers, and more importantly Jitter and Calico, stay safe.. theyve had enough adventure 💔

EVERYONE LOOK WHAT I JUST GOT MY HANDS ON.

I was able to finally get the comic for a fraction of the price!!! I'm so excited to add this to my Jitter collection! If you don't know what this is, it's that cruise book I mentioned a couple weeks ago, which was a bonus for booking a trip on the March Singaporean Disney Cruise of this year and features Jitter + Wave alongside Spider-Man!! Obviously I wasn't able to go on the actual cruise, but I found this online and the seller gave it to me to me for a very affordable price!

Someone match my excitement for this because I can't celebrate alone 😭💞

The new X-Men United issue was something else!!

Spoilers ahead!

You guys dont know how happy I get seeing Jitter in the character list, let alone when she's a main character in a team!! I'm so glad she's getting showcased in books outside of Uncanny, and I really do think she could become a recurring character outside of the Outliers!!

To start, the temporal team is finally back together with Beast's help!! They've all returned to the same timeline!

One thing I noticed was that Jitter has started to use her powers more, because usually she only uses them once in a book, but it looks like she's getting more comfortable with them! She's also using more emotional/psychological powers as opposed to her usual combative or medical ones. Also idk why shes tapping her stopwatch like it's activating her powers, she usually twists it to set a timer but whatever just a nitpick lmao

I really found the historical break interesting. Seeing Vernon's problems go in parallel with actual dark history was a different aspect to the story that I wasn't expecting. Captain America's problems being introduced to the comic seemed like a random big-name-character pull at first, but seeing the story fleshed out on paper makes me understand why they chose to bring him into the equation. I always like when characters face their past and have to resolve problems, and having the team work together to help Vernon respect himself again was great. I won't say too much because I don't want to spoil the whole book, but please read it!! It was really good and the art is amazing!!
