I was looking thru my friends and I came across a FDNY firefighter Billy Ryan who is stationed at Rescue 1. We message chatted maybe a half hour about my 2022 and sounds like he will be a huge help recomended I get ahold of the Brooklyn Cyclones for FDNY night it would get great exposure. He has also invited me to his station what an amazing honor to be invited to a place where all the on duty firefighters on the rescue were killed 9/11 including all in duty firefighters from the other 4 rescue companies. When I was chatting I kept getting chills and shakes knowing all this and what 2022 is poss gonna be like. He has a long bloodline of FDNY and NYPD in the family. Stay tuned for future updates It’s a 2 hour drive but will be right in center of Manhattan maybe just maybe they as in rescue 1 will escort me to ground zero as close as legally can be. So prayers being said I’m so happy to have met a new friend and a new Brother in the service. My blood is pumping now. David Dixon I forgot what year this was. But it was me and Dave as the president of our union IAFF local 4260 Milford professional Telecommunicators and I was the secretary treasurer and not pictured is Lou Tibor who was Vice President. These pics were the first year we participated with a booth at the Engine 260 fire muster which hopefully will return 2022 but we did a public service educating 911 to those not understanding. We were able to borrow from the state a 911 console where we were able to simulate 911 calls to kids and adults. The other pic was Local 4260 members participating in a IAFF visit pretty sure it was Pete Carozza ? President of the IAFF who was doing a national tour. Was a proud day. Kids do t drink and drive and when they say accidents happen close to home this was lime 2 blocks home. That was the worst day I don’t remember other than me showing the police my get out of jail badge 10 times or more.
