A new pinup is up on my Patreon!
From Candy's point of view, just being at a party that Daisy could also attend would be humiliating enough...
One thing I haven't been able to show in the comics yet, is how Aimee sometimes has a bit of fun with her missing arm. Usually in a way that takes things just a bit too far.

It's been a while, but I finally have a new pinup on Patreon!
One of my side projects is starting to come together!
Back in 1978, Sanrio premiered a film they had billed as "Fantasia for the rock era", called Metamorphoses. The premiere was such a disaster, and the reviews so brutal, that they pulled it from release. Over the next year, they trimmed its run time by 7 minutes, rearranged its segments, added narration, and replaced its rock soundtrack with a new disco score. Now titled "Winds of Change", the film flopped.
For me, this film was just one of many VHS tapes I'd watched as a kid, forgot about, then struggled to find as an adult. Once I'd identified it and learned it'd been released on DVD in Japan, I imported the disc, and that was that. Until I learned of the film's history, and its original widescreen presentation...
Skip ahead - over the past year, I set about collecting the various home releases to try to Frankenstein together as much of the original image as I could. I've no idea how long it might take to finish, or even if I will, but for now this video shows a very, very rough version of what it could be.
Darkwing Duck originally made its debut with a 45-minute pilot, that was then split into two separate episodes. Several bits were removed in
Recently I got my hands on a laserdisc capture of the full Darkwing Duck pilot, Darkly Dawns the Duck, and decided to combine that with the episodes from the DVD set to make the highest quality version possible. Others had done similar edits before, but every version I've seen was over-compressed. Mine is resized to 720p, with a bitrate high enough to preserve the image without going overboard.
I'd hoped to be able to cut this together with 1080p versions of the episodes, but apparently those don't exist. Not actual remasters, at least. In case that ever changes, though, I'll be hanging onto my current source files...
Happy Halloween!
Note to self - I need to draw Monique more often.
That’s it for this one!

Page 1 of a new 2-page comic!
Daisy’s back to normal, and we get to see more of Mary-Anne… a bit more than she planned on, apparently! :P
And in case anyone is wondering, there is an alternate version, but it’s a Patreon bonus, and will be sent out at the end of the month.
Dusting off my account, this is still one of my favorites
It’s been a while since I did a real comic chapter, hasn’t it? The first four pages are up on my site, while I plot out the next few...
HERE BE DRAGONS!
Then there's this cute little booger. Too bad the fire animations don't have particles on Artstation - it took some back-and-forth between us and the team at Backflip, to time the emitter just right so he lets out a little poof when he hiccups.
HERE BE DRAGONS! Lets continue our showcase: Mantis Adult with in game animations!
This set was difficult, given the circumstances - it was the first set I'd done for Dragonvale World, and the first animations I'd done in nearly a year at that point. Worse, I'd come to rely on reference as a way of hammering out animations quickly, only that wasn't an option this time. I had to think my way through these animations, and they needed to ooze far more personality than anything else I'd worked on probably ever. No pressure!
Before animation, rigging him was a fun challenge, partly because I needed to write a new set of tools first.
