What a cruel, cruel punishment, I'm sorry for your loss. What if in ten years you realise the kids you have suck and now you've lost your chance to make more? Emily is now on the wives who suck list, along with Blake and the first Mrs Reynolds. I'm happy to report, the kids were where I left them, the skills to survive that I taught them was time well spent. They succesfully cooked themselves dinner and ran baths without any drama. I'm no longer relaying any messages to Emily, don't worry. From now on, it's just you and me and a very boring series of text messages between us trying to arrange a time we're both free to hang out. If Brad wanted to do something stupid, I'm a hundred percent watching but if you want to do something stupid, I promise I'd stop you...and I'm not just sucking up to you because you have the power to do a quick re-edit of IF and cut me out.

It's a sacrifice I'm willing to make if I'm ever able to get any action again. I don't think Em will let me near her again as long as I'm still able to get her pregnant. I don't think at fifty four I'll be desperate to have a baby again. So I just have to make sure that these four will turn out great. If not maybe there's a Facebook group where I can do trades. Of course you're going to say that, you divorced both of them, and if I don't want to be joining you, I have to beg that Em is taken off said list. That's good news, at least now you know that you don't have to look after them, they're good on their own. Now if you could teach mine, that would be great, including the twins. We've just filmed a whole movie together, aren't you sick of me already? This is a lot of power you're giving me, just think of what I could get you to do in order to keep you in the movie. I'll start making a list.

the genius behind the operation, aren't we? must have slipped my mind, what with all the oscar glam and whatnot. and hey, there's nothing wrong with a good public cry—shows you're human. or at least a very sophisticated android with excellent tear ducts. as for the oscars, i like to keep them in the most unexpected places. one's holding up a wobbly table leg, another's a fancy doorstop. i'm all about practicality. and the bathroom? only for the most esteemed guests, of course. you get to experience the full 'oscar-winning pee' complete with a soundtrack—usually something by hans zimmer for that epic finish. stepping into ryan's shoes? go for it. just remember to squint those eyes, perfect that charming smirk, and voilà—you're basically canadian hollywood royalty. and let's not forget the child labor angle with hazel and violet. slap some paintbrushes in their hands and call it an 'art class.' customers eat that up. it's all about the marketing, kras. free labor and a heartwarming story? that's a business model for the ages.

Em is the looks, I'm the brains, I thought everyone knew that. Those award show glams that really fry your brains so I get it. The Oscars was all about Emily, I couldn't take her moment by dramatically crying at the table, I have to let her have the limelight sometimes. Gosh Em, you're so humble, relatable and down to earth, you're truly America's sweetheart. I'm glad to see that owning all those Oscars hasn't gone to your head. Although it sounds like being an Oscar winner isn't paying too well if you're having to use awards to hold up a wobbly table. I've spent enough time with Reynolds now that I'm certain I could perfect the impression, I'll just add 'eh' after everything I say. See, this is why I need you to be my partner in this. Act like the girls are just there to have fun, when in reality we're working them to the bone.

I see the influence I've had on your life choices and if I were Emily, I'd leave too before a 5th kid sneaks in there honestly. I'm sure they're fine and if not, I'm sure I taught them enough life skills to be able to survive in the wild. I did tell her, I assumed the word would just get back to you and then you'd come and run lovingly into my arms. It didn't happen though and now I'm wondering if Emily has an agenda to keep us apart. We can start day drinking but that's a lotta drinking Brad has to watch us consume and what if we start making dumbass decisions? I don't think he'll stop us.

Luckily, I don't think we will be worrying about a fifth baby, Emily has managed to convince me to get a vasectomy. While I'm not overly fond of the choice, just knowing there will never be a chance of having another baby is all the convincing I need. That's all we have to do as parents, teach them out to live on their world and it's all them. If they aren't able to survive by themselves by now then there's something wrong. Emily is definitely keeping us away from each other, so I wouldn't trust her to rely a message if I were you. You're better off cutting out the middle man and coming straight to me. Of course he wouldn't stop us, but then you just have to think, if we were in his shoes we wouldn't either. If you're going to do something stupid then I'm eagerly watching.

Talking off, the twins are my new best friends. Thanks to you and Emily for letting me crash at the house before I flew back home after the festival — promise I'll make another appearance and I'll stay longer too. Oh see, it's only the Oscars party I want in on, so I'll be enterally grateful for getting into that at least once in my time. Also the award ceremonies, not high on the list, but if you did need somebody to fill your spot and I'm free, count a guy in. Not a fan of these ceremonies, John?

I think we should be thanking you for the free babysitting. You know that you're always more than welcome to stay here whenever you're in LA. I'm sure the girls would love to see you for longer and if you ever feel like taking them off our hands for a bit, you can. We will see what we can do next year, I'm sure either me or Em can get you into the parties, especially Emily. She's somewhat of a big deal in Hollywood so they're more likely to say yes to her. Once to been to a few they lose the novelty. It's definitely different if you're nominated, I mainly go to support Emily. Did you enjoy the festival?

Childless and wifeless? Sounds like me, although you at least know it's temporary. I left mine somewhere to come here and I'll be honest man, I don't know if they'll still all be in that spot when I get back. I was actually talking to your wife a little bit ago about how I missed you, so this is the perfect chance to have some quality time together. I'm sure Emily won't mind if we hit the bars and stay out all night, right? And by all night I mean until 9pm. We're too old for late nights now.

I hope it's temporary, unless Em has something she wants to tell me. I guess that depends on where you left them and if you made sure they were secure enough. They might have been able to break out. So you told her, but not me? If you had told me you missed me, we could have been together a lot sooner than this. Of course she wouldn't mind, it means she gets to hang out with her friends. 9pm? Does this mean we have to start day drinking to make sure we get those prime time drinking hours in?

i love your entrepreneurial spirit. i was hoping emily would win that oscar so you'd give me a break, but whatever, we can have a booth and call it the 'hold an oscar and feel like a star'. after all, those statues are just gathering dust at home and judging me for not dusting more often. if we're doing this, we're going all out. i'm talking velvet ropes, paparazzi with flashing cameras, maybe even a guy pretending to be ryan seacrest interviewing people about who they're wearing.

I didn't get this career by not being a genius Emily, come on. I think it's safe to say that I definitely wanted her to win the Oscar as well. At least one good thing came out of her not winning. I wasn't filmed sobbing at the table while we accepted the award, so tears are safe from the public. Where do you even keep them? Are you one of those that puts it in the main bathroom for people to hold after peeing? I guess I could start working on my Ryan impression, how hard can it be? If we want free labour, I could get Hazel and Violet to do it, people love kids, so they will draw in more customers.

We were. It was good, I think if it had been anything else we would have skipped, what with the twins. But we treated it like a date night and it was highly needed. Next time Mason, I promise me and Em will sneak you in to all the after parties, but do be warned they can get overwhelming. Especially when they're multiple nights a week. As for the actual ceremonies though, they'll be a little harder to sneak you in, but I'll happily give up my plus one ticket for you to experience it.

i mean it wasn't really a big part of the role, you really have to pay attention in order to see us. i guess you have a point there, it was nice getting to be apart of it even if it was just a few second clip for a few scenes. it was yeah, but it was really based off the very first movie from back in 2004 but i haven't seen the musical but i feel as though this new movie for it was basically a mixture of both which was nice. oh yeah it came out on paramount+ plus not too long ago from what i saw. well i guess maybe not, i just feel like i boosted it a little too much.

I'm just trying to be nice and show that all roles matter. I'm guessing that the musical is basically just the same as the original just with songs. Of course I've seen the 2004 movie, but have yet to see the musical. They have some of the original cast don't they? I know Tina Fey is in the new one. Maybe I'll make it a daddy/daughter night in with the girls and we can eat popcorn and watch it. We've just had twins and so it would be a nice way to show them that they aren't being pushed out. Trust me, man. If I won an Oscar, everyone would know about it. It would be centre stage in my living room. Who needs kids drawings to be proud of when I have that. For your sake, I hope that your kids know to pick up every last brick when it comes to Lego, I wouldn't wish standing on one of those to my worst enemy.

If that was the case, we'd be here longer or I'm clearly on a work break and sharing best of. However yes, the past couple months. It has and I'm still planning a wedding ceremony and probably doing some work later as well. Thank you, I'm still on cloud nine about it. I've not been to the big ones yet but I hope to, nominated or not and I can drink the night away with my husband and pretend we're there for a reason. Wait, you go because your wife is nominated for things? Wow, congrats to her for that alone. Has she won anything? Shit, twins? Congrats! That's amazing, are they both the same gender, or one of each? Another Quiet Place? I'm ready for it.

Planning a wedding is stressful, especially when you're both busy, it takes a lot of time. Unless you hire a wedding planner, but even then you have to put aside time for appointments. I'm sure you are, while it is stressful, it's also one of the best moments of your life. I don't tend to go unless me or Emily are nominated, but they are a lot of fun just to go and see familiar faces. We're all so busy throughout the year, it's like a school reunion, when you get to see everyone again. Of course I do, I would be a pretty shitty partner if I didn't go as her plus one to support her. Her and Oppenheimer have done quite well. This is her first Oscar nomination so I'm hoping she gets it. Thank you, both girls, which makes four girls in total now, so I'm painfully outnumbered. I'm excited for this one to be released, I just hope that people enjoy it.

So I came home from training to a quiet house. Can’t say I was expecting that considering as I thought the children would be there. Turns out they had all gone to the local playground with their mum. It seems like they weren’t expecting me to be back before them because some of the children’s stuff was still over the floor. Not realizing this, I fell over one of the things and landed on the floor. Thankfully I didn’t hurt myself. And no one was there to see it. And what was it I fell over? A football. Of all things it was a football. That would have been comical if I was out for a while because I tripped over a football. I can imagine the headlines. How are you all doing?

Falling over the very thing that you use in your career is quite ironic. It's like me tripping over a clapperboard or an Oscar. Not like I have one, but you get the picture. I'm glad that you're okay though man, kids toys can be dangerous sometimes, especially when they're left at the top of stairs. Have you had an incident with Lego yet? Those blocks are brutal, I've never felt like standing on one of those. Plus, I don't know how it happens but the smaller the block the more it hurts.

oh that's okay you're not missing much well for looking for me or seeing me in the movie really. i think i boosted it a little too much when it's only a small scenes we were apart of. especially since it's a remake of the 2004 movie but adding the musical vibe to it. i'm sure she'll enjoy it, it's out on streaming services now if she wants to be in the comfort of your home when watching it. well since it's not a speaking role and more of a small cameo we technically forgot about it.

Don't downplay it, you were still in the movie, whether it's for the entire time or just for a split second. You still helped to make it happen. Not to mention there's hundreds of influencers these days, but you were chosen for it, that must mean something. I saw that it's a musical, it was on Broadway wasn't it? I think it's cool that they decided to go with that version of it, instead of a completely remake of the original movie. It makes it almost it's own thing. Oh she will definitely enjoy it, I didn't realise that it was streaming now, I haven't exactly had the time to keep up with things recently. A cameo is still being a part of a project, do you think Stan Lee ever forgot about his movies that he was a cameo in?
