So I became an RA this year and i made some really cute ass Door Decs based on some Nickelodeon cartoons from my childhood.

AREN’T MY DOOR DECS CUTE?

Worked on these all of training. HOLY CRAP my hands hurt by the end of cutting out the head, faces, feet, and hands. I’m also 110% positive the friend who volunteered to help me was ready to kill me by the time we were done (in my defense, SHE VOLUNTEERED.)

one of the doors in my hall seems to keep the door decs off. i’ve since given up because the resident seems to keep taking them off.

Sometimes I wonder if I still care about you or if I ever cared at all.

When things ended in January, I can admit that I was a little surprised,

but it never hurt. 

I never cried.

And I guess I did see it coming.

We were practically over and had talked about ending it for a month or two.

It always surprises me to look back 

and see how much I liked the person I was with

and how much I couldn't care in the present moment.

Why is it that when we're with someone, we can't see ourselves without them?

So much so that anything bad they do to us doesn't translate to "that's not OK" or "you deserve better."

Whatever happened,

I'm still happy at the end of the day.

I see you with your new girlfriend and it doesn't phase me. 

That's how I know we did the right thing.

You are the exact same man you always were and that's the problem. I'm glad I realized it before it was too late.
