today my aunt was able to shed some light on my father, who i never knew. she said he truly did love me and tried to see me despite the restraining order. maybe he wasn’t all bad… always felt he wanted nothing to do with me but i guess that wasn’t true. it’s too bad he made the poor decisions that made the restraining order necessary. i know he was great with my older sisters kids so maybe he could’ve been that way with me. but it’s good to know he did love me and did make some kind of effort me for. maybe i was his “little peanut” after all. she even said i looked a lot like him today….
