Hello if you do not know me already I am jlicia I draw and animate. I’m 22 from the bloody gorgeous north of the UK and yeah

Kaku

You may notice I have a lot of Kaku art. I don’t know why but Kaku tickles my brain, and I love drawing and animating him. I would say it’s probably a hyper fixation at this point, since he lives in my brain rent free, has been since May 2024…

Benefit of getting addicted to drawing a character: you draw ALL DAY. Or at least I do. And with that, I have improved a lot in a short span of time!

Kaku x Jericho (Sharing/Doubles OK!)

I find it important to clarify that Jericho, my oc, is not a self-insert.

Regardless, I AM comfortable with viewing and interacting with other people who selfship or have an oc x canon or canon x canon :] Kaku is simply just a favourite character and I made him a girlfriend with a lot of lore.

Interaction

I deem tumblr safe from bigots mostly, so my DNI list only includes those who go out their way to be mean or believe in the state of lsn’trael. And I will simply not interact with people who create, consume or post about anything to do with family members partaking in romantic relationships with one another and/or anything romantic to do with children and non-consensual relationships (young teens with adults).

Since not all ages are displayed, please be vigilant if you are a minor with no age displayed. I am an adult! I am happy to exchange comments and likes, but nothing beyond please.

Free passage and time off had been given to Kaku and Jericho on one proviso.

Jericho is my giftee’s very cool original character. She possesses a vulture devil fruit. Maybe not one for the squeamish, although nothing is graphic. Jlicia, I’m sorry but I’m not an artist and I know you wanted art, but I tried to combine the elements from the last prompt into the fic. I hope you like it! Happy holiday season if you’re having any holidays. It was great to get to know Jericho. 2, 393 words. T-rating.

this is absolutely wonderful..

the detail in the story, detailing Jericho’s lore, powers, struggles, memories… is all so beautifully done. the multiple references the Arabic foods made me smile so much! I didn’t expect a fic this year but for sure next years I’ll keep that option wide open. what a valuable piece of work, so much effort has been put into researching my Jericho and to writing so beautifully. I will be reading this again and again and possibly may even print it out so I have a physical copy (if you don’t mind?).

Kaku Headcanons…

I’m bored and never do this sort of thing, today’s your lucky day, errh.

Honestly if given the opportunity I could probably write an essay. It’s incredible how even one of Oda’s lesser characters has something to it.

Starting off classic… male pattern baldness

Think Vegeta, Doflamingo, Damon Albarn in the year 2000. I’m telling you this guy either just really loves his hats or he’s a little embarrassed about balding at 23. I mean, got the impression he likes to keep the most perfected, cool-guy forefront when he became giraffe and couldn’t take the heat. He does NAWT like being made fun of.

I’ve tried my very best to give a reason to this headcanon, in actuality, I just think it’s attractive.

Snores

And if you twist his nose until it cracks, the snoring stops because he wakes up in agony

Goody Two-Shoes

Probably has a negative opinion on smoking and such, has a little drink once in a blue moon. Practically sober. Follows the rules and will remind others of the rules, but occasionally bends the rules.

Wears tracksuits

Because you’re telling me someone who wears a tracksuit under a tailored suit doesn’t just wear them in their spare time and off days?

Quality time

Probably goes camping, hikes, plays card and board games, mountain climbs… he likes to keep his body and mind active. If he can’t train he’ll do recreational things instead.

Antique collector

Mostly based off canon, his quarter in Ennies Lobby was decorated with antique decor. He certainly has a real appreciation for vintage wares and pottery.

Orphan

I mean we can assume so based on Big Mom’s backstory, but I don’t think it was necessarily confirmed?

‘Great’ with kids

But in a way that he doesn’t care for them, yet they just wanna be around him. He’s the type to be done entertaining children after half an hour, but they’ll cling onto his legs and try to pull him back by his shirt! Kinda like me.

Foodie? Vegetarian?

I can somehow see him turning his nose up at unfamiliar dishes, ‘I’m not eatin’ that.’

I also think after gaining his zoan, to his disdain, he slowly starts to dislike meat.

Scared of bugs

I don’t know

Very clean, very preened, chore determined

Showers every morning and every other night. Bathes once a week with salts. Shaves every weekend, wears aftershave, cologne. Not a hair on his body, except his arms and legs, which are so light anyway they might as well not be there. On top of his laundry, washes dishes asap, cleans living space twice a week…

Favourite band is Dexy’s Midnight Runners, as a general rule he likes 80s pop and a bit of math rock. Also keen on a bit of classical/orchestra.

Today I can stop fasting, so I can energise in the morning and actually get stuff done! (I suspect I have low iron or blood sugar issues, fasting kinda regulates it, but it’s still pretty tricky)
