Kaku Headcanons…
I’m bored and never do this sort of thing, today’s your lucky day, errh.
Honestly if given the opportunity I could probably write an essay. It’s incredible how even one of Oda’s lesser characters has something to it.
Starting off classic… male pattern baldness
Think Vegeta, Doflamingo, Damon Albarn in the year 2000. I’m telling you this guy either just really loves his hats or he’s a little embarrassed about balding at 23. I mean, got the impression he likes to keep the most perfected, cool-guy forefront when he became giraffe and couldn’t take the heat. He does NAWT like being made fun of.
I’ve tried my very best to give a reason to this headcanon, in actuality, I just think it’s attractive.
Snores
And if you twist his nose until it cracks, the snoring stops because he wakes up in agony
Goody Two-Shoes
Probably has a negative opinion on smoking and such, has a little drink once in a blue moon. Practically sober. Follows the rules and will remind others of the rules, but occasionally bends the rules.
Wears tracksuits
Because you’re telling me someone who wears a tracksuit under a tailored suit doesn’t just wear them in their spare time and off days?
Quality time
Probably goes camping, hikes, plays card and board games, mountain climbs… he likes to keep his body and mind active. If he can’t train he’ll do recreational things instead.
Antique collector
Mostly based off canon, his quarter in Ennies Lobby was decorated with antique decor. He certainly has a real appreciation for vintage wares and pottery.
Orphan
I mean we can assume so based on Big Mom’s backstory, but I don’t think it was necessarily confirmed?
‘Great’ with kids
But in a way that he doesn’t care for them, yet they just wanna be around him. He’s the type to be done entertaining children after half an hour, but they’ll cling onto his legs and try to pull him back by his shirt! Kinda like me.
Foodie? Vegetarian?
I can somehow see him turning his nose up at unfamiliar dishes, ‘I’m not eatin’ that.’
I also think after gaining his zoan, to his disdain, he slowly starts to dislike meat.
Scared of bugs

Very clean, very preened, chore determined
Showers every morning and every other night. Bathes once a week with salts. Shaves every weekend, wears aftershave, cologne. Not a hair on his body, except his arms and legs, which are so light anyway they might as well not be there. On top of his laundry, washes dishes asap, cleans living space twice a week…

Favourite band is Dexy’s Midnight Runners, as a general rule he likes 80s pop and a bit of math rock. Also keen on a bit of classical/orchestra.
