I had the opportunity to try out the Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask By Valentia for free recently and wanted to share my experience. This is quite an interesting product. I don't typically need extra hydration but the winter weather combined with an increase in exfoliating I have been doing lately has made my skin a little drier than usual. I picked this mask up to help with my under-hydrated skin. The packaging of this mask is very luxurious feeling with the white and gold details. The product itself is a very odd milky orange color with a texture not unlike pudding. The directions are pretty simple. Just apply to face avoiding the eyes, leave on for 15-30 minutes, then remove with a damp cloth and warm water. I notice a scent but looking over the ingredients, I can't place what it is. It's not a bad scent at all but it is something to note if you are sensitive to fragrances. I also found that even though the product information does say you may feel a slight tingle, it was more than a SLIGHT tingle. It was rather intense by my own standards but as I continued to wear it, that feeling did dissipate. When you apply it, the color of the mask sheers out and it's just slightly tinted orange. It does dry down the longer you wear it. After the "tingling" feeling subsides, I felt a cooling sensation for the rest of the time the mask was on my face. Washing the mask off was really easy. I removed it with a damp cloth and warm water. My skin felt more plump and hydrated right off the bat. I felt like the mask really penetrated my skin and left it feeling soft and supple. The jar is a generous 4oz which will last a very long time. I was able to get 3 uses just from what was stuck to the lid so I can't imagine how many uses I will be able to get from this one jar. I rated this 4 out of 5 stars but I would rate it 4.5 if I could. I don't rate it the full 5 stars because of the tingling effect.. it was more than slight for my skin. But since I did not notice any irritation after use, and I did see such good results after washing it off, it still deserves a high rating. I did receive this product for free in exchange for my honest review.
