So, they’ve talked about how the main protagonist of Resident Evil 9 is Grace Ashcroft and they’ve also mentioned a secondary protagonist who is a character the audience knows from past games.

Most people expect it to be one of Leon, Claire, Jill, or Chris. Those are all cool and I would be fine with any of them.

However, I think it would be awesome if it was Ashley Graham returning as an actual trained agent. They totally set it up in the remake of RE4, when Ashley was talking to Leon about wanting to become an agent.

It would be a really cool return and evolution for a character that has recently become more relevant and popular due to the remake.

Also, bonus points if they lean into the emo/punk characterization of Ashley implied by the casual costume she had in the remake.

Superman/Clark Kent Headcanons

This aren’t based on any specific continuity and aren’t that serious, just things I think would be funny to add to the character.

1. Clark Kent is Superman’s #1 Hater. Whenever Superman does anything, Clark has an article or snide remark ready to go about how Superman messed up or could have done better or could have been less arrogant, etc. This is due to a combination of real criticisms of himself from Clark, a desire to have people not associate Clark Kent and Superman, and because Clark enjoys messing with people. He tries not to let his ego swell too much when Lois and Jimmy vehemently defend Superman to Clark and talk about how awesome Superman is.

2. Due to the aforementioned Superman hating, Clark Kent is Lex Luthor’s #1 friend at the Daily Planet. Whenever Lex wants a propaganda piece about how great he is or how awful Superman is, he calls Clark to write and publish it. He frequently also calls Clark to rant about how Superman foiled his latest plan to “improve Metropolis”, while Clark consoles him and tries not to laugh. Clark ostensibly goes along with this because it puts him in a position to talk Luthor out of his most ridiculous and destructive schemes. He also goes along with this because he enjoys the irony of Superman secretly being buddies with Lex Luthor.

C’mon give me John Walker as a Christian Cage-esque heel who’s incredibly un-self-aware and yet totally convinced of his heroism. Marvel movies have been missing genuinely hateable villains for a while and Walker already is hated by a lot of the fanbase even while being mostly heroic. If he went full “American hero” during the upcoming US vs. Wakanda thing they’ve been setting up for a while, I guarantee he would be the most hated villain in the MCU.

Sloane and Cameron should have been a couple in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off instead of Ferris and Sloane.

First off, they actually have a lot of chemistry in the movie to the point where it’s actually kind of weird that Ferris doesn’t say anything.

Second off, one of the main criticisms of the movie is that Sloane is kind of just there and doesn’t really have a lot of depth to her character, but that’s kind of necessitated by Ferris’ cartoonish role in the film, which then extends to her.

Third off and most importantly, that scene where they’re watching Ferris in the float and both are talking about how they’re not interested in anything is really cute and I wish they had done more of that.

After watching rampage, I’m just gonna say it. I know that Kip and Penelope are married IRL and I respect that, but in-storyline give me that Orange Cassidy x Penelope Ford odd couple storyline. That sounds amazing and I feel like they were teasing it on Friday.

A head canon/prediction of mine is that if Charlie and Dee ever started dating, they would be the most obnoxious couple in the world. They have the exact right mix of narcissism, insecurity, and a total lack of self-awareness to do stuff like PDA in super inappropriate situations, loud arguing that makes everyone else around them uncomfortable, and bragging about their romantic success to people who aren’t romantically successful. Like, I could 1000% see Dee taunting Dennis that she has a good relationship and he doesn’t. What do you think?

I was reading through old Something Awful forum threads about the show that were written during/after the first season. Guess what the predominant ship was at the time?

It was Mac/Dee. No, I’m not kidding. At the time, it made sense because season 1 Charlie was the most degenerate/immoral member of the Gang and season 1 Dennis was the member implied to be gay. Thus, the prevailing opinion on these forums was that Mac and Dee would be getting together as the show’s official couple in season 2 or 3. Honestly, I kind of want to see the alternate universe where this took place.

The only thing that I really want to happen in season 16 is Charlie/Dee becoming official. There’s just so much potential there.
