“ Unnie... what’re you doing? ” 

Jeonghwa couldn’t help but chuckle after her question, watching the elder drag out the dusty candles from the cabinet, squatting to reach at the very bottom shelf. “ We have a candle out here already- ” She lazily pointed it out next to her on the couch. Jeonghwa’s theory consisted that Heeyeon just wanted to make the room cozier, since it was raining outside and it’s just them two for the night. Adjusting under the blanket, she watched the other line up the candles in front of them on the table before giving one life with a lighter. Mesmerized by each one as the candles slowly radiated a warm glow to the room, Jeonghwa’s eyes followed each wick ignited until she noticed Heeyeon was taking too long to light the candles; the source candle’s wax began dangling! “ Unnie-! Be careful-!! ” 

As Heeyeon retracted her arm from Jeonghwa’s sudden calling, the drop of wax landed on her arm, followed by more drops falling because of her flinch. Jeonghwa immediately retreated to get the closest paper towel, quickly returning to wipe the wax off before letting it burn anymore. After assurance of no more wax on the other’s skin, a chuckle escaped. 

“ Maybe next time, you should use the lighter as source.... or let me try next time~ ”
